big game tomorrow bop can't believe the chairboys are going up. i appointed them to mrpiano as his team last year (he has noooo interest in football whatsoever - i know, how weird is that!) if Luton go down (very much a mathematical probability) i'll never live it down!
1) annual leave day 3 of the year but had a meeting for 90 minutes of it which means, if working an 8 hour day, still got 390 minutes of annual leave
2) painters getting on well. back gate is unsavable (i did say that) so Ec is making a new one. it's going to look sooo good
3) courgettes were a bit old and forgot to peel them so soup was a wee bit bitter - added some runny honey and delicious
4) read a couple more fairy tales
5) and now listening to liveaid. 35 years ago today wow. Started with Who then oh go on Who again now on Queen

1. Arranged an oestopath appointment. It is too be in a tent outside. Pleased it's been arranged.
2. A few text conversations with friends.
3. Long chat with work friend.
4. Was swabbed at work - it will be a weekly occurrence now. My old acting line manager complained I took too long and why did I take longer than her!!! Nothing to do with the five minute chat I had with the person swabbing me though didn't tell line manager that.
5. Easy tea which was needed but it tasted good. Used a home grown courgette too.
6. Drink with DH in the garden.14 -
For yesterday,
Gave equine girlie a pamper including a bath, put her back into field and wasn’t even fully out of gate before she took a roll. Big old legs waggling in the air as she once again covered herself in dust and dirt, couldn’t help but laugh at the contented look on her face!
Tasty lunch of three bean salad with roasted beets.
Visit to farm shop to top up F&V.
For the last two evenings a female roe deer and her fawn have appeared in the field next to the cottage.
Bit dark and rainy so light some candles.14 -
Morning all - lovely pleasures, barring Frith's smaller son frustrations. Although... chickens!
Pleasures for yesterday
1. Keeping on keeping on. Nearly done this first sweep of corrections. wouldn't it be lovely if, on monday, they said "yep, that's fine, hand it in"... Ha ha - pigs might fly
2. Yoga - a nice gentle one as Saturday's did for my sinuses
3. out for lunch - in a pub! More to the point, DD came and enjoyed it and she's barely left the house for weeks and weeks. it was all very well done and felt very safe. I had Sea bass thanks for asking.
4. OH cooked roast chicken for tea but i only had a little as i'd had the seabass. Leftovers for me tonight though - already plated up.
5. Family film night, my choice - A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood. Charming film
Have a good day allI wanna be in the room where it happens14 -
Good afternoon all, pleasures for yesterday...
Garden was wet when we woke up - it meant I didn't need to water
Being able to send my dad some sugar free sweets direct from t'internet
The HT did his schoolwork without complaining
I did the ironing (been putting it off for a while) so all of our clothes are back in our wardrobes and wearable
The cat went to the vet for her booster jabs and has been pronounced fit and healthy after her tonsilitis last month. There was a poster on the wall that said feel the cat ribs on the poster then feel your cat's ribs to see if they're the right weight. No thanks, I don't fancy a trip to A&E, I'll take the vet's word for it that she's just right.
Take care all of you13 -
And don't bang on the door!
Yous has too be quick, as the new workshops will be soon reclaimed by the bay! Alcatraz in March 2019!
PM2DD Big weak. Could see the kittens inn dire straits by 5 on Saturday!
Oh Friths. But theys has ticked the box!
Gloves! I know. Thinks six foot barge pole!
Now with the bits according to BoP!
Was inn the emporium A1D! this morning to get the cheeses and the wobbleades inn for the weak! Well what a calamity. Poor lady inn front, here cleaner thing went pop! Everywhere! Well, on hers not BoP! So as I had me wobbleales and cheeses already on the belt, no need for me to query, these things 'appen! So I goes to get some paper roll to help out and the ignoranus man behind has a right stance, complaining. I justly murmured he was some sort of matriculant! and he picks up his shopping to get out a tad slower! Fortunately his nice bottle of red wine slipped from his penchant hand and crashed to the floor! The lady and the shop assistant had a nice rye smirk at his sudden misfortune. Smarmily he kept quiet and shifted to the next till! Justice done? No! But three people, that made their day!
So that's why BoP is late with the elevenses this day! I had to gets the wobbleades and cheeses inn! Oh, elevenses are tea with some nice ginger nuts. No tarts this weak, mini apple pies instead! Wine is inn for BoPsie!
Finished the Space Force last evening and then watched another flix. BoPsie had some film about Eurovision lined up, but we not has that inn BoP house. No No No! We watched All Relative on the amaflix box. No details on the liedepedia eitehr, but a but risqué for the like of & ifs sparra was around, I would nots know what to say! Very good. Cheeses and wobbelades were consumed!
Had the stove curry last evening for dinner. Proper food! Served up with fake saffron rice. BoP uses the termites to create extra flavour! Note he did not has the egg fried this weak!
Bet nones of yous thought of putting fresh onions top!
Advance notice of yous daily BoPinns for Thursday. BoP's motor is inn for its service! So yous has too weight!
That is it then for BoP's words today!
Not bad that is it?

I asked my OH to drop Tiggy and I at the end of a road that well before my time used to lead to a farm. Was desperate to walk somewhere new. What a lovely surprise. It's a private golf course with a bridle path. It was so wonderful to look out over all that green. We only ventured a short way because I knew we had the long walk home. Millions of blackberries (not ripe yet), beautiful trees, wildlife flitting across the green. It truly was a sight for sore eyes.
Tiggy has been fed and is now fast asleep. I have made dinner and am now resting my aching hip. Lovely day.
Something I am finding a little funny...........every time my OH spots a bird in the garden he comes to get me so that I will feed it. Had some pretty blackbirds today. He has also got me feeding our midnight fox.
Have a great evening

Hello from a land of rain...which to be fair has just started about an hour ago.
Up early but not early enough as the builder was here before I was dressed! Concrete wasn’t dry enough for work to commence.
Went to supermarket.
Went to the mothers.
Had optician in afternoon. Was there for 2 hours...thought I was going to be locked in! Back on Friday for more testing. Staff were lovely and I felt very safe. New specs ordered. And as I was down that end of town got ice cream for pud.Lasagne and salad for tea first though.Chat with OH best friend who was walking past when DS and I were trying to ( he more than me) pressure hose the guttering.Lovely email from OH oncologist. I’d made our annual donation to our cancer hospital for his research.Looking forward to going to bed tonight! Feel like I haven’t stopped all day...no snoozette today!12 -
Pleasures for today (Tuesday)
1) A lie in.
2) Bigger son and my brother went for a bike ride (both "King of the Mountain" on Strava today) then we all sat in the garden to have a cup of tea.
3) Went to my sister's to get the hen bedding and pellets that have been stored there since after the last of my hens died. New hens coming in 5 days...
4) Sister and brother in law were going out to a local gardens (with cafe) so we went with them (not in the same car) and had tea and cake. Nice to be having tea in a garden other than my own!
5) By a fluke, my housemate from university walked past! We had a chat with him for a while, though no one has anything interesting to talk about any more.
6) Back home then had a campfire on the allotment.
7) Did a tiny bit of weeding and tidying in the garden. There was a lot of broken glass by the road in front of the house and we can't work out where it came from. It was very clean (so not an old jar or anything from the bin) but not flat like car window glass. I think it might have been a broken indicator light.
8) Made flapjacks with smaller son.
9) Will watch Holby City just now.
For future reference, I emailed the County Council (as I do traditionally every Tuesday) and absolutely nothing has been done since last Tuesday. Someone will "try" and get back to me before the weekend. Literally all they have to do is email me 2 existing documents and make one phone call to one college.
