1 The quality tops arrived, one is amazing the other really not, but free and easy to return. The other top is amazing quality, I know it’s 75 percent off, but wow the original price is more than eye watering. I find it hard to believe anyone would pay?
2 Kiev with brown rice and broccoli tonight.
3 Having to take it a little bit easy, I broke my toe about a week ago now, but today it’s not good, which scuppered plans for a stroll, pleasure sitting here with it up with abba and the bee gees blaring out.
4 I did a strange sitting down mainly change of our bedding, and created a lot of washing. But it was oddly easier than normal.
5 I’ve actually lost a little weight by maintaining the diet which feels noticeably good. I was going to order something bad in, but it will wait now.
6 Looking forward to that fresh clean feeling after a bath and clean sheets.
7 Watching the various birds on the feeders and seeing a nut hatch, and got the fleeting woodpecker landed on the fence but by the time I looked and worked out what it was they were flighty and gone.

Just waiting on builderly chaps coming then going out a rainy dog walk once they’re here, I have a day to myself ( well apart from 2 noisy builders)14 -
Many congratulations to you and your family HappyCas.
For yesterday,
The Buddleia is finally in full bloom, we are on butterfly watch but just the three species so far.
A very formal invitation to a meal with DSS and his gf, a menu has been provided and drink preferences enquired about.
The second half of the three bean salad, this time had some mackerel with it.
My beloved being able to come downstairs from the office and have a mid afternoon cuppa with me in the garden, benefits of WFH.
The speed at which small dog chases her tennis balls, low down to the ground, spaniel ears flapping, beyond cute.

Good morning all, pleasures for yesterday....
Made two lots of vanilla ice cream before the cream in the fridge went out of date
Did a 30 minute run
House is still mostly clean and tidy
Picked raspberries and blueberries from the garden
Ordered a mask with a pirate pattern for my friend who was disppointed that the dinosaur masks in the local chemist were for children and not adults
Congratulations on the new arrival Happycas
Take care all of you

Amid all else, many thanks to all posting here.
Happycas - that IS joyful news:-)
Cranky - you've reminded me to 'test' my nectarine icecream, made last week.
Bop - & bit:-) 'All Relative' reads+reviews like a rather poor, pale ideas theft spin-off from The Graduate. Is that fair?
Also, as you now know aldi orange+choc 27p per pkt biccies surpass the other ones, let us proceed straight to osp:
1. & discovered yesterday that same is true of Aldi's 47p Dark Choc Wheatens! Taken during closing hours of Bastille Day CUBG visit, another good walk and think. Wore treasured vintage tricolore sash and bleu/blanc/rouge from top down....with black green tea from purple thermos, sitting here.
2. Msgs from young person. Restricted funeral should be live-streamed. Going to a particular bit of coast this weekend. Many, many caring people are keeping him safe.
3. 10p on the ground beside &'s free parking - reverbe bonus:-)
4. There are familles françaises very much involved at rugby club, so & headed there, for combined nod to Bastille Day+first 1sts+Seniors' full training after CUBG.
Incredible turn-out: 60+!!! All keen and so good to see!Lovely merlot too :-)
5. Spoke to France first thing. Helps so much. 'Just come and live here'.
Then nearly half an hour via Messenger to old NZ schoolfriend this morning. His mum will turn 100 come 22 October. D says she may just make it....
