Apologies for the poor quality phone photo, but I thought DfV might like to see how the tiny horse chestnut tree I planted out earlier this year is faring.

Bugs and Bears ...
That should ...
Don't look now, but here ato the needy. Chins up!
Now onto the better things that BoP does!
Just been out to the LanaMat to get sum tops for the beech. Nice and loud they are, so mind your eyes now! BoPsie got a new glad rag for later. This is what it is like being BoP. Loud and proud!
Had full too biscuits of wheet with ice cold milk for brakefest. Toast with blackcurrent jam, and some tea was drinked! That is how you start the day the BoP weigh!
Had to make some buzzard curry last nite. Got loads of buzzard from the A1D!, and chunked up. Chopped onion and sweat corn! Did it slightly differing last nite. Put the tom puree in the mix when buzzard was done before the curry mix. BoP uses the storma mix, and adds chilli to taste! There, proper food and not anything yous founds from Jimmy the Cook! Was rite tasty.
Now you knows BoP says he was outta of flix the other day! So we got another Burt for BoPsie! Cannonball Run II. Cocoa was drunked and cheeses were consumed.
Raffles, who has completely failed the BBQ whether, is up for the Hatters later. Then we wait for the Gooners tonight. Well, Raffles did try, but I was emptying the dishwasher this morning and not fooding him. Now I ask you how many times he did leg crash! And he left another chick! Buffering pest! I pay his veterinary bills! Mind you he does not like his flee treatments.
Oh bother, getting ready for the cricket the morrow. About time, so could be early. Now we has chocolate digestives for the elevenses tomorrow.
Ends the missive for today!
Someone has to go first, who wants too bee the guinea pig!
Emergency Edit!Because I feed Raffles correctly, it looks good for a BBQ on SunDae

Pleasures for Monday and today
1. Man came to give a quote for the woodburning stove - it's a bit ouch as it needs a fairly extensive flue system but it's a goer
2. managed to plough on with work, despite tantrums
3. lentil shepherd's pie for tea - and today as i had the leftovers
4. rainy today so at least i didn't mind working
5. family film night but i've bailed (DS chose 'saw' of all things) and am watching Anne with an E - pure delight.
Have a great evening allI wanna be in the room where it happens13 -
Hello. Rainy start to day but brightened up by afternoon.
DD2 wanted to go to Prim@rche so had set her alarm ( unheard of😀) and invited me to join her. So we were there for just after opening. Not busy though a few folk must have had same idea. I bought some vest tops and another pair of black jeans for back to work . We saw a fox crossing the road then later on a bank of grass filled with bunnies.
Then went to favourite cafe by the sea for takeaway bacon on toast and sat at beach ( in car) . I had a little wander and a little tear as five years ago I was on a different beach in a different country with my lovely husband...however it was similar weather wise! Cold and blustery!
Home. Hoovered upstairs/downstairs. The dog is going through his moulting phase just now and whilst he’s always hairy this is ridiculous! Anyway it was momentarily hair free! Floors washed. Downstairs loo cleaned.Lovely walk with him mid afternoon. Sun was out by this point.Stripped bed and hurrah remade it before bedtime!Son was away mountain biking up north so we didn’t bother with tea...we’d been nibbling.
Chat to friend on phone.
a wander in the garden admired my peas.16 -
Mhags, I really miss the sights and sounds of the sea.
& isn’t the rain welcome. I don’t know how you are coping with the terrible neighbour issues.
1 In light of expense coming up, we cancelled this weeks groceries, as we have plenty across the fridge and freezer, it’s only a drop when it comes to it but each bit reigned in and all that. We also haven’t ordered something else which is another £20 towards it.
2 I emptied out a freezer to re pack it so I know what’s available and create a bit of space, my least favourite job but a pleasure to have done it.
3 A bit of garden pottering dead heading etc, the garden is a meadow at the moment but the various wildlife is loving it so I'm okay with that, I do wonder what the neighbour thinks occassionally, hers is mown 2 to 3 times a week.
4 We went for an hours walk which was good for the soul, we did think we were going to get thundered out but the weather seemed to hold.
5 Watched the recorded Silent witness, nice as I literally always record and forget to bother watching, but I am rather addicted to Silent witness, I need to find a new thing to watch thou as we've finished the detectorists and loved it, but not sure what to follow it with now..

PurpleKitten - I would recommend "Ghosts" and "What we do in the Shadows".
Well, the meeting went much as expected! I asked for online lessons (I didn't expect the County Council to deliver them personally, there is a good company used in schools that you can sign up to). Also asked that smaller son doesn't have to try mainstream again, after 7 years in special schools, as that is ridiculous. 2 outright lies - I would like to say this surprised me, but no. I only knew they were lies from working in a high school for a couple of years. So I batted those away sharpish. They are still against online learning but what they have recommended instead could be 10 times the cost. They are now looking into a special school (college) which is 20 miles away and teaches 16-19 year olds one to one. It's a private school and I'm sure it is great with lovely grounds and facilities but it is not what smaller son wanted. It is also £30,000 compared with my £2,500 idea. I know he will never agree to go, so the months will continue to tick by...

Getting a load of washing dried outside before the rain came over.
A mama sparrow feeding its youngster on the edge of the water feature and then teaching it how to have a bath.
Finally, drove to Uni City and had a haircut, lovely hairdresser wearing visor with all precautions taken in salon. Oh the joy of no more unruly mop!
Still relatively quiet in the city and no traffic to sit in.
Oven baked mackerel with stir-fry rice and veg for tea, very tasty.14 -
