Right, I cannot wait until later.
Flo came a-visiting with Fluffy (don't blame me, D4V named it) but surprise surprise......................she came with ANOTHER fluffy. This one has the Mallen streak on it's tail feathers. This one shall be named Flossy. I shall soon be known as 'the old crow lady'. Shortened to..............well you can guess......tee-hee.
I did go blackberry picking, in my own garden ! They turned black overnight it seems, enough for a small bowl.
Tonight it's tuna pasta again because OH accidentally ordered fresh linguine. We enjoyed it so much last week that we are happy to have it again. Loads of housework done and the day is still young.
Keep well.......

Long post vanished! Boo!
Bala, you'll have to teach your crows to talk. I'm sure I've read about that, or perhaps I'm mixed up with the raven who quoth nevermore! Same family though.
Decided after lunch to do housework first and then pot up some herbs. Mistake! I'd been outside about 5 minutes when the heavens opened. Lesson learned! Plant herbs while the sun shines!
So, housework done. Gardening rained off. Will just have to read my book! Oh dear. Never mind!
Happy rainy afternoon everyone

the fluffies make an incredible racket ! If they start talking as well I may upset many neighbours............
They were doing this today and I watched Flo listening intently. Think I know the tree she lives in. Went inside to get more bread and by the time I came back out Fluffy and Flossy were there. Both still sporting loads of fluffy feathers. One markedly bigger than the other but they both must have come from the same hatch this spring.
Happy days....................

Somehow logged out but back in again! Bedtime after a very busy but good day.
allotment just after 8am. A beautiful morning. Just me down . Did much weeding, picked a few chive flowers. My Australian friend called me so chatted to her and then started walking home and chatting though was rather out of puff on the big hills !Bumped into five different people throughout the day and had nice chats with all.Got a RTC big box of bedding plants for a fiver and then went back in later on ( specifically) and nabbed another for £2.50 plus 2 sad lavender plants and as I said to DD1, I shall make them happy again.Had a roll and corned beef for lunch and a piece of Rtc carrot cake which was very yummy.
cut grass. Tried to move very heavy Belfast sinks filled with plants, managed so far. ( later neighbours big lads moved them for me ) and was chatting to neighbour. She’d been given a planter she didn’t want so offered it to me . Again rather heavy but her lads brought it round later. Thanks very much! Then time to go to the mother and cut her lawns. DD2 came and picked me up so I would go into supermarket for her. We now have to wear masks in Scotland. From today. I don’t have a problem with this other than steamed up specs and feeing like I’m suffocating but apparently it gets easier!Just had a roll and butter for tea...son still not feeling perfect so he just had toast and DD2 was going out.Nice chat to friend who’s on holiday but can still chatter!12 -

1 DH and his mum chatting, a pleasure for me that they are keeping in contact.
2 Walked up with DH to the hospital, walked a ferret with us.
3 Chicken pieces and a slice of pizza for tea as a fake away.
4 DH has very kindly treated me to 2 great quality tops that we couldn’t’ afford full price but they are now 70 percent off, I am very grateful.
5 Ferret is now booked in next week for all of the tests after the antibiotics finish, as he’s coughing and bald bless him, thankfully he seems well in himself.

For yesterday,
Another quiet day, back a tad better.
Took beloved’s car (automatic so easier to drive ) and visited my girlie, just stood in field with her for a while and tried not to see how muddy she was. At one point she rested her head on my shoulder and blew kisses into my ear, we have missed each other.
Fresh bread and salmon pate for lunch followed by a nectarine.
Cheeky little afternoon nap as sleep is tending to be on the allusive side.
Enjoyed the evening walk with small dog, I’m ok once I get going and the weather stayed dry.
