Art'noon all
Pleasures for yesterday
1. Still getting on with corrections - as said previously, the work is not a pleasure but getting through it is..
2. Yoga via Monday's recording. quite chuffed that i can garner the enthusiasm when it is not 'live'
3. Walked to the local shop with OH - sometimes i find it an issue just leaving the house for a stroll.
4. Cooked jerk chicken for tea - was .. ok...
5. Family film night. DD's choice "Love, Simon" another 'teen' type film but very charming.
Have a great day all.I wanna be in the room where it happens15 -
Not much pleasure today as Mr. M has found out he is going to be made redundant, he is a worrier and is very down. Fortunately I am quite practical and optimistic and keep reminding him we will be ok.
more practicalities than pleasures.
1. Budgets reworked and 5 year plan revised.
2. Mr M pensions contacted (he is 58 and can draw one from age 55) So that might be an option.
3. He has emailed some contacts and applied for a part time job, which to be honest would be fine as he was planning to retire at 60 anyway.
4. Looking forward to watching celebrity masterchef
5. Nice walk with the dogs to the local park which was really quiet and peaceful.Well Behaved women seldom make history
Early retirement goal... 2026

For yesterday..
1 One of our ferrets has suddenly come down with something odd, we had a car park consult at the vets and he’s got antibiotics and a keen eye to see how we go.
2 I used up stuff in the fridge for dinner, and it was horrible, I guess pleasure is it’s used up.
3 Not really much to report so to speak which is also a pleasure.
4 Well the garden doesn’t need watering but the washing didn’t need watering either but I couldn’t be bothered to run out and get it in…
5 Chased up some refunds that are now very overdue.
For today
1 We had to lapse the diet due to lockdown, but I’m now well and truly back on track feels better to be more in control, thanks to the deliveries as well.
2 We did have a full grill up brekkie, for us that’s poached egg, beans, grilled tomato, grilled bacon and grilled Cumberland’s, lovely treat as we were up very early to check on the ill one.
3 I am looking forward to cooking later, making a curry with brown rice. I have been hankering after it for ages, cooking extra grilled chicken and rice for tomorrow.
4 Two lots of washing out on the line, and the top of the house cleaned before 9am.
5 I sat and read a few chapters of the book, while DH snoozed.

Hello. Another quiet day in quietsville.Nice doggy walk.Chat with friend as she was passing.Stayed mostly dry and got washing mostly dried. Just put heating on for 20 minutes to finish it off.forty months since OH died and that just seems too many. But I suppose the pleasure is we are still standing but still missing dreadfully.Watching the swallows out my bedroom window. Flitting in and out of nest.16

For yesterday,
Pilates first thing, as a test of my improving strength I do a plank at the end and am up to holding it for 25 seconds, started at 5 so happy with that.
Cleared mount ironmore, few linen bits after last week’s hot spell so good to get out of the way.
Lovely farrier came to do girlie’s feet, chatted to him about her going barefoot as she currently has shoes behind and we have plan to transition next time, he is happy her feet are up to the job.
Egg and cress sandwich for lunch, simple but oh so tasty.
Playing peekaboo with small dog and her blanket, she may be 9 but still acts like a pup when the mood is on her.

Well it is Meggies Beach! Just down from The Corner House!
MHags. Gosh, so long! And too the needy! Oh, and the poorly ferret!
Now with BoP's News!
As expressed by Raffles and no BBQ this weakened, BoP washed his wheels this morning, checked his oils and tyres. Gleaming. Ifg the yellow thing was out, you would be blinded!
No elevenses this morning as I can not be rrrr'd so just a nut of ginger. Cakes of Jaffa are now in the cupbored as well!
Had another dollpop of the nasta pasta last eve for dinner. It gets hotter the linger it is on the stove. Remember the refrigerator is only used to cool the wobbleades.
Watched the Gooners last tea as well, then some millioners, and then an episode of the Space Force. Good farce and cheeses and wobbleades were consumed.
Now watching the cricket again. Maybe we win again! Only 6 now until the Test!
All finished with BoPinees!
Don't look up, look far!

Hello All
Cleared one of the big kitchen cupboards and now have things organised in terms of what I use most sits at the front. No more struggling.
Took Tiggy through the park. We were already soaked so a little longer wasn't going to matter and her raincoat does a good job. Mine not so much. We almost had the park to ourselves, just a lady and little girl collecting Linden flowers from a tree. She makes herbal tea with it. And then a massive flock of parakeets making a racket. It was great watching them.
On the way home I found £30.00..............
I waited for a little while to see if anyone was looking for it but no-one turned up. Not sure what to feel. This has never happened to me before but my gain is someone else's loss. Guilt fighting with joy.
It's going to be tuna pasta for the third night in a row. My freezer is empty but we have a delivery arriving on Sunday. We booked it a month ago. The pasta sauce tasted fabulous last night as I had added anchovies. Tonight I will add another tin of tuna. We are actually really enjoying it.
Have a wonderful evening
