Thanks for the info dolly. I like the look of the classic ladies bikes like

    http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bikes/classic-bikes/pendleton-somerby-hybrid-bike-slate-grey-17-19-frames

but are the any good for a long cycle do you think, or just nipping to the shops?

That bike would be great if you want to pootle about and just keep yourself moving a bit but if you really want to burn calories I would recommend a hybrid, they are fast and light and up to the work.

Not losing as i was hoping....very difficult when caring for this family as I must set an example of sensible eating to a family not used to eating regular home cooking together....due to illness not neglect...
Mum and one daughter have got the idea, Dad and other daughter still going for a ready meal at odd times, toying at mealtimes then looking for cheese and crackers or cake!

The scales only read to the nearest kg!
Short slow run!! with client today!! Amazing! Most of the exercise period is spent on mobility drills and proper form....but I would love to get out for a longer session.

Bit odd really.....I struggle with my own problems but they seem insignificant compared with theirs..

Right, dawn is here...I'll finsh my coffee, get the laundry on and check if its bin day....

Have a great day, count your blessings and give someone or a pet or even yourself a great big hug.
