Did the 12 months free BT Sport include Hd.

no sadly not, just normal SD on the Sky Box, plus the App. Doesnt bother me too much about no HD as I mostly tend to use the app anyway. Still a very good deal for the ashes and european football :)

Is the trick only working if you go with 12 months PlusNet? Could I go for the Vodafone 18 month deal?

Thanks for letting me know, unfortunately, can't stand watching sd on a 65" and in this day and age when Hd should be standard can't bring myself to pay for it. Took up the same 18 month deal mentioned above (line rental + £7.50 infinity unl) which was offered to me immediately (and prior to me seeing it above) when I spoke to aot team earlier along with £15 for the 25gb sim only mobile package(was paying £16 for 20gb). Not as good as the £5 (infinity unl) I got last year but this time exclusive of any price increases for the next 18 months (last years deal went up to £7.50 after a couple of months as it wasn't exclusive of these frequent price increases).

My contract is up for renewal on Dec 7th, and I'm considering leaving. I will phone them first to see if they make any reasonable offer, and I need to request my PAC for my mobile from them too. However, what date can I sign up for another broadband and telephone provider without incurring any charges, and will this date be the same for signing up for another mobile phone contract?

Haggled for the same provisions at present, but lower price. So he offered BT Infinity 1 package, free weekend calls for £22/month on a 24 month contract . I was a bit confused because he said it was due to go up to £40 odd so I save £10 (perhaps he means on what I'm paying now), so I confirmed the total price again at £22/month so I hope that's correct. He took a long time searching out my details and asking if my needs were greater as well.

I phoned them up and they were happy to match what they offered last year, wouldn't go any lower than that, but I mentioned their black friday mobile offerings so got an improved mobile contract with them for the same price, so happy enough with that.

a great deal indeed. If they offer me a similar price on my renewal in about 9 months I'd happily take it. Im happy with BT's speeds, but i wish their retentions would be easier to negotiate with.
