esmy - it's really easy to multi-quote you just click on the "double balloon" thing on each post you want to quote and for the last one you click on the word "quote". You can only multi-quote a maximum of 3 in one post.

    Well done, sarahj and Ceycey.

kathrynha, as usual, your attitude is spot on.

Ha ha, Tete, maybe I’m still with OH because I don’t think I could be faffed with dating now! You never know what’s around the corner. I always thought I’d get married when I was 23 (don’t know why I settled on that age). I was 18 when OH proposed after we’d been together for 6 weeks – we waited a couple of years to get married, Denise, until after my graduation. I didn’t have a single doubt about accepting and I haven’t had a moment’s regret. I am very, very lucky.

Ceycey, I have leanings towards Arsenal as my 'wee' team, lol.

For a change, it has been glorious here the past couple of days and promises to continue tomorrow, Msm.

Oh, bubbs, how horrible for you. I hope you get sorted out quickly. I imagine it’ll be much worse coping with leaks in a relatively confined space.

I was supposed to go for lunch with a friend today but she had to call off. Not to be disappointed, DH and I went instead – assort of late anniversary celebration. I had to laugh when he got his. He had ordered mac ‘n’ cheese with crusty bread. When it arrived it was the smallest portion I‘d ever seen. We spoke to the waiter about it and he replied that it was a child’s portion. We pointed out that DH is definitely an adult. Waiter replied that they don’t so adult portions and he’d assumed that that was what he actually wanted, maybe he had a small appetite. DH admitted it was his mistake; he just hadn’t noticed “Kids’ Meals” above the mac ‘n’ cheese. He had sticky toffee pudding to make up for it.

    Fishy week continues

Breakfast: sardines in tomato sauce on hexb toast
Lunch: Thai style sea bass with egg noodle (guessing 3 for oil), NO dessert
Dinner: tuna pasta, Lidl Deluxe mandarin & lime layered yogurt, real treat – 8?)
    Snacks: mini custard doughnut (8?)
    Hexa cheese and grapes

Not a good day overall, but a lot better than it might have been, even if I have underestimated syns.

It is lovely reading about everyone, all strong, determined wonderful women x

tweets, you missed off just how extremely proud you are of your DS, and how wonderful and self sacrificing you are x

Bubbs.... I can bring some water proofer for the window!

    Todays food.

    Breakfast - carrot and tomato
Lunch - salad and left over courgette/aubergine and tomato
Tea - steak and poach eggs, bramble and yoghurt.

Tomorrow I need to go through security..... tempting to take a full cucumber for my lunch. Only of my colleagues wears a magnet for the menopause (aka a F*nny magnet)..... I love going through security with her and seeing security trying to figure it out. I am meeting her for coffee at 8 am so we can go in together! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thank you to those saying I am strong, really don't feel it most days. I do love my job, it's really only since working with 1-1 that my health has been effected. I did step back and insist on a job share as I was the only TA in the whole school working full days with a 1-1 All others job share.
I'm now working afternoons with a sweetheart of a child so that helps :D.

People keep telling me I'm strong too and I really don't feel it. I think sometimes you are forced to be strong by your circumstances but you just need to remember to let the soft and struggling side out sometimes too for your own wellbeing
