KATHRYN, in my old group I was nominated for Miss Slinky. I didn't win but was over the moon to be selected, such a good feeling and I felt real support from the other members which was lovely. Hope you are feeling this way too.
Good luck all x
Lovely sunny day here, but not that warm. We had rain all day yesterday though.
It is nice to know I've been nominated. All apart from a couple in group don't know what I'm going through at the moment, but they do know how much I've lost, and I do try to be helpful in group. It is a lovely friendly and supportive group I go to with an amazing consultantZebras rock0 -
Afternoon all.
Thanks for the chart Kathrynha and congrats on SOTW Beanielou - you're on a roll! Bubbs which wraps do you use for the pasties? I haven't eaten pastry for 8 months and for some reason have a craving for it at the moment so SW pasties would hit the spot.
Very interesting to read a bit about everyone. I'm 56, took very early retirement from a stressful job I had done for 32 years last year and, though skint, have never been happier. I said at the time that I'd been skint before so I would cope and I have. OH and I have been together for 34 years but never married - too lazy - and have 2 (allegedly) adult daughters and a wonderful granddaughter. I'm rediscovering neglected hobbies and interests now I have the luxury of time. Does sitting on your behind enthralled by the World Athletics Championships count as Body Magic?....
I still can't do the multiquote thing but welcome to those who have joined recently - this thread is really helpful and supportive. Some great losses - well done losers - and keep plodding the rest of us!0 -

I have some pasties in the oven at the moment, and have used the weight watchers wraps. They are small and don't hold much though, and one of them has ripped, but that could be due to me putting too much filling in.Zebras rock0 -

And it tastes good. Not pastry, but as close as you can get on plan without lots of syns.Zebras rock0 -
Thank you to those saying I am strong, really don't feel it most days. I do love my job, it's really only since working with 1-1 that my health has been effected. I did step back and insist on a job share as I was the only TA in the whole school working full days with a 1-1 All others job share.
I'm now working afternoons with a sweetheart of a child so that helps.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Congratulations on your nomination kathryna .I'd vote for you. :T
I resisted the cauliflower cheese and roasted it instead with paprika and chilli flakes. It was tasty but not comfort food. I did have about 3 syns of dark chocolate just for a sweet taste. Much better for me than cheese saucesarahj1986 wrote: »Morning all,
Incredible lengths of some of the marriages! Hubby and I just celebrated our second wedding anniversary last month. He is the love of my live
I'm also happy to report 1.5lbs loss this week which I'm very pleased with
Today goes as follows -
B - bacon medallions and eggs fried in fry light, red currants and gooseberries, unsweetened almond milk HexA
L - vegetable curry (sweet potato, peppers, onions, cauliflower, butternut squash), greengage, Alpen light x 2 HexB
D - steak (fat cut off after cooking), a couple of oven chips, vegetables that I need to decide and buy tonight. I think broccoli and leeks
S - 3 British plums
Exercise - clubbercise and 10,000 steps minimum
I've got a litre of almond to drink today as my HexA. I'm about a third of the way through it. I'll have some more later after work and with dinner. I'm actually ok to drink, but I might be fed up of it after a litre. It was worth a try though!

Good Afternoon :hello:
59 live with my baby (doggy) Poppy she 9 end September a rescue staffie had her since she was 18 months old.
DS 28 middle September he lives in Chester.
Divorced after being together 20 years 16 of those married. Life certainly did begin at 40 when I got rid of him
Also one of the many Kathryn's on here

I've just made a SW recipe from the app, a veggie tortilla thing that I will have cold for lunches for the next few days. Syn free and really tasty. Dinner is Veggie syn free lasagne leftovers from the other day. Today is a low syn day, just as well because I had 28 yesterday! (Bar of choc, bag of crisps, can't remember what else). Still hoping for a loss on Saturday.
As for me, I'm 43, married just three years, vegetarian, dog lover, civil service for work. I only usually post on this thread but love reading the get ready for winter threads on old style, also frump to fab and some other old style threads which usually give me loads of ideas. Went to SW group about 6 years ago and did really well. However, our brilliant consultant left and I couldn't find another good group. Got together with my husband around this time so being happy and content allowed weight to creep back on. Trying to shift it for good now.
