Well done Shiprob - you'll soon be at target!
Kathryn, glad you're feeling better - half a pound is not bad at all.
Welcome back GT!
And well done Sarah - brilliant first week!
I've just snuck on the scales and they haven't moved at all since Friday (or more likely they went up and came back down) Hoping to reduce it a bit over the next couple of days. I need to try this 'water' everyone's talking about - if only it were super cheap and piped straight into our homes....
Wednesday:
B - Banana and apple
D - Roast veg and quinoa as yesterday, plus some sad-looking broccoli
T - Speedy bol from the freezer with grated carrot 'spaghetti'
HEA - Milk
HEB - Nuts
Syns - Sugar in coffee (4), not sure what else, trying to keep it low as poss.
Have a good day everyone!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Need ideas please:D
Hubby would like wraps or something similar stuffed with mince beef etc can i put these in the oven with a type of syn free sauce?
Cause what he actually wants is pie, but he aint getting it:rotfl::rotfl:
WW wraps are an HEB so could use those. Loads of people on my groups SW facebook page have been making them lately - ranging from minced beef (Asda canned I think if Free) to cheese & onion using HEA of cheese. Another popular one is chicken & mushroom using the SW mushroom sauce. Haven't tried them myself but may hit the "pie" spot.

Barrie - I would make those jars of curry sauce so even further than 2 curries. Use a jar and add loads of veg and a couple of tins of tomatoes, chickpeas, meat and extra spices and make even more portions for the freezer. You won't need to make a curry for some time then.
What are you using your syns on if you've decided not to have popadoms? You get 25 a day and need to use them. Don't think you need to deprive yourself of everything and you'll have a better loss for some reason SW doesn't work like that!
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs on toast
L - LO shepherds pie, veg
D - stuffed chicken breast wrapped in parma ham (3 syns); new potatoes, veg
HEA - milk
HEB - no idea - haven't got any Hifis or Ryvita left! So maybe some cereal but will probably need to syn a little milk
Syns - 3 syns as above

Morning all
Well done to everyone with the losses.
I weighed and +2lb for me. Actually not as bad I was expecting but annoying nevertheless. Determined to lose a decent amount this week to make up for it.
Breakfast: 2 x Kingsmill thin (hexB) with ham, cheese (1/2 hex A) and an egg and half a syn for a tiny bit of ketchup/mayo (1/2 syn)
Lunch - couscous (1 syn) with WW tuna in tomato dressing (1.5 syn)
Dinner - Not too sure yet - I was going to have the Count on Us chicken and mushroom pie but can't find the syns anywhere! I might have a jacket potato and prawn mayo instead..0 -
bubbs Pie!!!!! Brings back memories of Cartman from Southpark. I just love Pie! I could have pie every night. Love Pie! My M&S Steak and Ale pies are 31 syns each!
joedenise We are Vindaloo people at a push Madras. We do add tins of chopped Tomatoes. Sorry can not do Vegtables in curry. We use either Pork, Lamb, Beef or Chicken for our curry. Cooking bigger pots is a great idea just need to make room in our packed Freezers. Have decided to give away 9 of my Apple pies. Cannot just let them all go!
Having looked at what I have eaten since Friday I need to be eating more. I just have not felt hungry. I have been drinking much more Coffee and Squash and I have only used by my calculations 30 of my available 125 syns. Not sure if its cutting out bread because its was so easy to polish off 6 slices without thinking. Not had any Wine in a week either and not been bothered by that.
Well done Shiprob. Hope you win.
Just had a bowl of 3 Peaches for breakfast. 1st time I have had peaches not out of a tin!:D3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -

I’m planning a fish week next week, esmy, so that recipe will come in handy. Thanks.
I never weigh or measure properly but I'll do my best!
This made 3 good portions or 4 for smaller appetites.
Mixed fish, cut into chunks - I used 2 cod fillets and 2 salmon last time, but smoked fish/prawns all go nicely
1 large carrot grated
Cheddar cheese grated (HE or syn)
3tbsp reduced fat creme fraiche (check syn value for your brand, Aldis is 2.5 per tbsp)
salt and pepper
dried parsley
Squeeze of lemon
Mashed potato or mixed with sweet potato/swede etc
Spray dish with Frylight. Put raw fish, carrot, cheese, seasoning lemon and herbs into a shallow casserole dish, stir in creme fraiche. Top with potato (add extra cheese if you have some spare). Bake at Gas 6 /200C for approx 30 minutes or until nicely browned. Serve with green veg.0 -

I had a quick look on the pinchofnom site last night and corned beef pasties were popular too. Googling tells me that Princes Low Fat corned beef is on offer in Morrisons. I'm still fancying a corned beef hash but trying to avoid extra syns in meals until I get rid of my holiday gain but lower syn corned beef would be a help.Ceycey1980 wrote: »Breakfast: 2 x Kingsmill thin (hexB) with ham, cheese (1/2 hex A) and an egg and half a syn for a tiny bit of ketchup/mayo (1/2 syn)

If it's chicken, mushroom and bacon potato topped pie it's 6 syns for the pack ceycey. It could be you haven't filled in the detail on your menu but as it stands it looks seriously short of Speed.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk
L: LO cottage pie with veg (SP lunch)HM pork burgers, SW chips, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried onions, asparagus and broccoli
Syns: squirt of syrup
Your burgers looked really professional bubbs. Was that home grown cress on your salad?:)0 -
Maman thank you for the syn value - i will have that tonight then for dinner after my PT session with some asparagus and green beans on the side.
And thank you for the telling off about my lack of speed- this is why you guys are great. keep me in order. :T
However, I can confirm that I ended up changing lunch a bit anyway - instead of having the tuna I had a packet of the m&s sweet smoky chicken (free) with the couscous and 1/3 of my plate was salad I also had some melon and a muller yoghurt.. I wish I knew how to upload pics on here so I could provide evidence hehe - is it just me or is it really really hard to use this site from your phone??? Is there an app or something that makes it easier? during the day i log in on work PC.0 -
