Kathryn, not sure if you can have them, but I always liked baked oats as a portable breakfast (that would be your HEB though). I used to reheat them and eat them in the car (can't eat in the classroom obvs) but they're fine cold too. Or maybe some of those breakfast muffin things where the bacon or ham forms the 'case'?
Can you do baked oats without yogurt or milk?
Breakfast muffins are an issues too. Eggs are turning my stomach tooZebras rock0 -

Well done Bubbs and thank you Kathryn for the chart!
Welcome to the newbies! All this talk of losing 2st by Christmas has got my cogs whirring...
Finally did a proper shop yesterday so my fridge is full of lovely Speed. Fully on plan yesterday and finished on 12 Syns, not so good Monday though. I honestly think I'd be able to lose steadily even if I have weekends 'off', if only I could rein myself back in promptly on a Monday :wall:
I'm trying a new tactic for drinking more water: every time I boil the kettle for a cuppa, I have to drink a mug of water first. I was definitely on the loo more yesterday!
I've also stocked up on several supplements, particularly those for joints, as I'm just fed up of feeling like sht. I'm tired all the time and I don't think that's normal for a 35 yo, particularly with no children to run around after.
Anyway today's menu:
B - Mushrooms on toast, butter 3
D - That new potato and asparagus salad with an egg, from the latest magazine - very excited for this it looks delish!
T - Prawn stir fry (grated carrot, onion, mushrooms, beansprouts) and egg noodles, made with soy sauce (free)
HEA - Milk
HEB - Bread (2x WM crustless)
Syns - Sugar 4, butter 3, hot choc 2 = 9
Wiz that lentil and bacon soup sounds lovely - it's deffo soup weather up here in the NE!
Oh brilliant loss Kathryn, what a way to get it though! Hope it cheered you up a bit after a horrible week xx
Gorgeous TIE! The detail in the wings and the little loveheart. I'd love another tattoo but can't decide where on my body I'd have it... I'll take the plunge one day no doubt.
Well done on your first loss Ceycey! And on the running, I've been out with a sprained ankle for nine weeks now and I miss it so much (I never realised I enjoyed it tbh!)
Have a good day all xx
[/B]Yesterday wasn't a great day, so didn't plan, but going to try and be back on it today
Breakfast - Fruit
Lunch - pasta salad
Dinner - Chicken curry
Snacks - quavers and cereal bars
HA - milk and cheese
HB - cereal bars
Syns - quavers (3), salad dressing (1)
Need some ideas for breakfasts at work please. I was having yogurt and fruit, but the yogurts aren't really working for me at the moment. Needs to be something I can eat at my desk, not smelly, preferably cold, and preferably not using my HA or HB.
Any ideas people?
Thanks everyone for the lovely comments - I did actually try and grab all the messages into this message to thank individually but some of them have disappeared from this message box for some reason! Highly annoying
Today's plan
40g chocolate chip weetabix minis with some strawberries and 100ml skimmed milk. Also had 100 ml in a milky nespresso coffee at work.
Lunch - not sure yet (yes i know danger danger) but thinking maybe sushi from Wasabi - i think it's about 8 syns and a diet coke to wake me up (i took some travel sickness tablets yesterday and feeling super drowsy today!)
Dinner - going to have a portion of my SW lasagne which is free using my HexA allowance.
Snacks - will depend on what i end up choosing for lunch and how many i have left!
Have a good day everyone! x0 -
Sorry Kathryn, didn't realise dairy was a no go. I always make baked oats with a muller light, but maybe you could do something with soya/almond milk if you can have that? Hmmm I'm struggling to think of anything breakfasty that doesn't include HEA, HEB or eggs! Maybe a cold portion of potato hash?
Deffo get your gait done Ceycey. I'm a Mizuno girl, I'm a terrible over pronator. You might be able to get moulded insoles that you can wear with a neutral shoe, so you can keep wearing your Nikes?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Dairy isn't no go, just only allowed limited milk, and yogurt is turning my stomach at the moment, along with eggs.
Wholemeal breads aren't allowed only white, and so not good for my syns. I have a nut allergy so almond milk and stuff are out.
My pre-SW feeling iffy breakfast would always have been toast and marmite, but not allowed marmite.
I was at one point having miso noodles for breakfast at work, but someone didn't like the smell, although after that person ate microwaved fish in the office, I'm tempted to say stuff himZebras rock0 -
Bubbs, chestnut mushrooms are really good and they make a fantastic mushroom soup( mushrooms, 1 onion, 1 carrot, 1 leek,2 vegetable stock cubes, less salt) garlic tbsp lentils,1 potato optional.cook then blitz.
I am having this tomorrow..

I recognize it and am climbing back on plan! (the big mac for lunch was the final straw!!)walk 2018 miles in 2018 - 781 of 2018

Kathrynha I was also going to suggest the breakfast muffins but did wonder about the eggs so that's a no go. Have you tried Quark instead of yoghurt? I much prefer it and use loads of it every week.
If you have access to the website there is a 7 day Vegan menu plan which might be helpful as of course there's no dairy although I suspect they use soya milk, almond milk etc which isn't any help to you! Haven't studied that much but keep meaning to have a proper look to see if there's anything I could adapt which DH would be happy to eat (he's a meat & veg bloke).
I decided to go to WI this morning and amazingly I managed to lose 1lb! No idea how other than to say I was more or less back on plan from Sunday when I got back from holiday and had one SP day. Only need to lose 2lb to get to bottom end of target before my next holiday staring early September. Would really like to get there as that would give me 6lb to play with for a 3 month holiday:D
Today's plan:
B - LO boiled potatoes, cherry toms & piquante pepperdew peppers after WI (made a nice change from fruit!)
L - gammon, chips & salad
D - roast pork, roast potatoes, roasted peppers, carrots & onions, mashed swede; apple sauce (1 syn)
HEA - milk
HEB - 1 Hifi bar (0.5) 2 Ryvita spread with Quark, topped with ham & cucumber
Syns - apple sauce 1; wine 15

Hi:)
Back from a lovely holiday with a chest infection and a 3ib gain:eek:
I did so much walking and, whilst I didn't deprive myself, I didn't overindulge either. Oh well....
I'm still a bit disorganised post hols, food-wise, and need to get a proper meal plan and grocery shop done, but today's plan, roughly, is:
B. Fruit and yogurt
L. Salad with Ham and egg
D. Probably a chicken dish of some kind, with lots of veg
Will catch up properly later. Well done to all the losers;), good luck for anyone weighing in today:)I totally get you on some days you feel thinner. It's a lovely feeling, and well done on feeling good
It definitely did cheer me up thanks. Feeling like I can cope with this. The side effects don't seem so unbearable when the scales are going in the right direction
I wasn't either, but I'm really getting in to fish and trying to be more adventurous. Really loving salmon and prawns in stir fries.
Sorry cant help for breakfast ideas:( i struggle tooSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0
