That looks very similar to this week bubbs . I bought the mushrooms although the large Wonky punnets were chestnut mushrooms too. I've eaten a lot of mushrooms this week. And I bought the sweet peppers but haven't used them yet. I was thinking of stuffing them with couscous or rice. Any ideas?
My stir fry was absolutely yummy, crisp and fresh. We had one pouch of noodles shared and I made some SW chips, probably the best I've ever made in 6 years. I had a couple of syns in sweet chilli sauce but very few as I just dipped some chips in it.
tete , unless you have loads to lose I think you're going to have to choose between daily or weekend syns. Going off plan at weekends might work at target (IIRC tie does it) but to lose you'll need to stay within 105.0 -

Can confirm the New Potato and Asparagus salad from page 59 of the Aug/Sept mag is delicious, I'm having it again tomorrow!
Will see how I go, flexi-syn wise, Maman. I do use plenty during the week and tend not to count at all at the weekend so it's very flexi indeed
Can you put the recipe up please x100 -

Hi:)
Back from a lovely holiday with a chest infection and a 3ib gain:eek:
I did so much walking and, whilst I didn't deprive myself, I didn't overindulge either. Oh well....
I'm still a bit disorganised post hols, food-wise, and need to get a proper meal plan and grocery shop done, but today's plan, roughly, is:
B. Fruit and yogurt
L. Salad with Ham and egg
D. Probably a chicken dish of some kind, with lots of veg
Will catch up properly later. Well done to all the losers;), good luck for anyone weighing in today:)0 -
I said to dh when we was washing up, i feel thin today:rotfl::rotfl: he said you plonker:rotfl::rotfl:
I totally get you on some days you feel thinner. It's a lovely feeling, and well done on feeling goodTete_en_l'Air wrote: »Oh brilliant loss Kathryn, what a way to get it though! Hope it cheered you up a bit after a horrible week xx
It definitely did cheer me up thanks. Feeling like I can cope with this. The side effects don't seem so unbearable when the scales are going in the right directionMaman, I wasn't a fan of fish when I was younger so tend to stick to cod, haddock, salmon and occasionally prawns or mussels.
I wasn't either, but I'm really getting in to fish and trying to be more adventurous. Really loving salmon and prawns in stir fries.Zebras rock0 -
Yesterday wasn't a great day, so didn't plan, but going to try and be back on it today
Breakfast - Fruit
Lunch - pasta salad
Dinner - Chicken curry
Snacks - quavers and cereal bars
HA - milk and cheese
HB - cereal bars
Syns - quavers (3), salad dressing (1)
Need some ideas for breakfasts at work please. I was having yogurt and fruit, but the yogurts aren't really working for me at the moment. Needs to be something I can eat at my desk, not smelly, preferably cold, and preferably not using my HA or HB.
Any ideas people?Zebras rock0 -
Thankyou
being so tired, have you been checked for diabetes? i never realised how tired i felt all the time before diagnosis , like you i dont have kids but am older than you:eek:
But since i have changed my diet and got my sugar in a fantastic place:T:T i feel so different
OMG no I haven't! That wasn't something that had occurred to me at all! I am a self-confessed sugar monster though so that wouldn't surprise meAnother trip to the docs in order...
Thanks for the Aldi deals, sounds like a good one for me. Tesco have been selling the chestnut mushrooms for 79p which is cheap for them, they must be in season! (Not complaining!)

You're right, I fear. Just jumped on the scales and they're showing a 1lb gain even though I've been an angel since ... Tuesday ...'Star week' is overdue too though so I'll try not to get too despondent.

I'm too lazy, but I found ithere: https://pocketmags.com/slimming-world-magazine/augsept-2017/articles/173510/new-potato-asparagus-salad-with-an-egg-on-top
Kathryn, not sure if you can have them, but I always liked baked oats as a portable breakfast (that would be your HEB though). I used to reheat them and eat them in the car (can't eat in the classroom obvs) but they're fine cold too. Or maybe some of those breakfast muffin things where the bacon or ham forms the 'case'?
Today's plan:
B - Melon and rasps
D - Potato and asparagus salad (0.5)
T - Pork chop, Aunt Bessie carrot and swede mash (1), broccoli
HEA - Milk
HEB - Got a hospital appt with gran this aft so I'll take a couple of Alpen Lights with me
Syns - Sugar in coffee (3) = 4.5
And lots of water and herbal tea. I want at least a STS tomorrow!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
