Is that a loss or a gain Sunshinemummy?

I just drink throughout the day. With that drinking plan I would be drinking way too much. I also include all my drinks in the total, not just water. I would be constantly on the toilet with the amount that drinking plan suggests.
I do however think drinking before meals is good.

    Good morning everyone!

Haven't been here for a while but found the new thread.

Am still managing to remain at target - put on a pound yesterday but still one pound away from the top end of my target.

My Mom is moving soon and we've had 2 single beds from her house, so DH had to borrow the van from work, so we had to drive to Coventry, get the van, pick up the beds from Sutton Coldfield and drop them to ours, get them set up and made up. DH had to drop the van back to Coventry and get the car.

Managed to go out last night and I had a few drinkies, but am going to pull it back this week, as I want get back to my target or below if possible. x

    How's everyone doing?

Isn't there a school of thought that says drinking too much water is more harmful than good? It dilutes all the minerals, salts, etc in your body. That said, I do need to make more effort to drink more water, I deffo haven't had enough recently.

Off plan Friday night and yesterday, although all my meals were pretty SW, it was just the biscuits sneaking in! I tried Pinch of Nom's baked egg recipe yesterday and it was lovely, got the other half of the batch in the oven now for brekkie. Back on plan today, albeit a bit higgledy piggledy as I don't want to go shopping til tomorrow!

B - Baked egg (bacon, mushrooms, beans, cherry toms, egg)
D - Salmon salad - grated carrot and pickles basically!
T - 2 x Heck chicken sausages (1), Aunt B's carrot and swede mash (1), few mushrooms, gravy (2), maybe a Yorkshire pud or two (2/4)
    HEA - Milk
HEB - Pine nuts/seeds on salad
Syns - Sugar in coffee (4), tea as above (6/8), ice lolly (2) = 12-14

Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone! xxx

  • More importantly how do you live life, when you need to keep near a loo!

I must admit that when I did this I found I was waking up at around 3am needing to go lol.

Having said that hubby has a no stop policy ('did you go before we left' is a common phrase used )& I need the negotiating skills that would be the envy of the diplomatic corps for him to stop!

Good to see you abbafan. I wish I was just inside target range. You're doing really well maintaining.:T

Yesterday ended up even more SW friendly than I anticipated. My back started aching (old disc problem that flares up occasionally) so I took some painkillers, felt really spaced out and didn't fancy my weekend wine! Fortunately we had curry ready meals planned for dinner so I was able to manage that. DH offered to 'help' but I knew that if he did it we'd have oven chips so I struggled on.

I did have some chocolate (7.5 syns) with a cuppa but that's a load of syns saved on my usual Saturday night.

Still feeling a bit fragile today but it'll pass and I'm going to take it easy.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, scrambled eggs, HEA milk for drinks
L: probably another JP with cottage cheese and pickles
D: HB braised steaks (mushroom and onions), SW roast potatoes and parsnips, cabbage, cauli, red cabbage, carrots and any other veg I can get together.
Syns: squirt of HP sauce, weekend wine (hopefully).;)

I'm going to do loads of veg as I just love having them fried up at lunchtime.

I's read that drinking water before going to bed reduces the chance of a stroke, so I have a glass each night... it makes no difference as I always go to the loo a few times during the night (I had a 12b 13 oz baby!)....:eek::eek::eek:

I go to loo 3 or 4 times a night, I was checked for diabetes but was fine... just need the loo!!

I am hoping to get to a stone loss by next week, and think I will treat myself with a little bit of chocolate... can anyone suggest which is the lowest in syns please x
