:T that's a good loss whichever one it is!

Glad you're feeling well topgirl. I think it was you gave me the savoury mince recipe. It's yummy. I'm planning to use some for cottage pie later in the week, hopefully with swede/carrot topping to make it SP.

It certainly was, I love it, simple and syn free :)

Today is a day off plan :o

Top man and I are going out for my Wednesday birthday tonight so I'm gonna have exactly what I fancy. MAYBE a small glass of wine too :o Midwife says it's unofficially fine on special occasions.

And I had a Gogo spread, ham, egg and coleslaw sandwich for breakfast :o 3 syns for the reduced fat coleslaw, HEXB bread. As cravings go, I figure it's not the worst!

BM is a mooch to Asda and back, I've picked up some fruit to snack on as I have work to do this afternoon.

Wi with gain (again ) .5lb. I know it's only a half but it's still a gain. I don't feel like I've gained, in fact quite the opposite. My (not) 10s are loose again and my tummy is flatter looking now than it has been in a long time. I even turned down a mini magnum at a colleagues leaving lunch on Thursday :A. Oh well, the good news is No more work until September 4th :j:j:j:j
I was also told I will be following a dream of a child into year 1 for afternoons (as well as my other 1-1 in mornings) so that's cheered me up :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a good weekend. Despite the weather! Persisting down here and dog wants a walk :p

.5... it could be muscle, water retention? a wee? a p**?

When I used to weigh myself regularly (as was slim) I could put on 7lbs before a period....and then immediately drop back to original weight... I bet I would put on 7lbs..but not drop it again! :p:p:p:p

  • Kathrynha just a thought but can the pharmacy at the hospital help ? I couldn't imagine waiting that long for something that would make feel human again.

WI today showed a -2.5 lbs [/red] which I'm pleased with - just 1 lb now off 3.5 stone !!

Am going to try and have a couple more SP days, which I found hard if only because I missed my yougart with cereals, this week but seemed to work

    Well done on the loss.

You are right about the hospital pharmacy. My friend is getting them for me at the end of her shift today, so will have them by this evening :)

  • You know SW tells us to drink 2l of water?

Well I read something on a website as t when you should drink this water .....yes bare with me!

It reckons you should drink 500 ml as soon as you get up & 250 ml an hour before breakfast.

It then goes on to say 500ml should be drank 20 mins before a main meal and 250ml after drinking tea & coffee with a final 500ml 2hrs before bedtime.

Now I have to admit that my biggest weight losses came in the fortnight I did this and whikst I initially thought the article was a load of hype I've read similar elsewhere.

hoe do people drink their 2 litres?
