I have lunch & then tea at tea time.
    Sauce for me

Same here, beanie, on both counts, but I just pictured a cuppa with a blob of tomato sauce - a bit like whipped cream on a coffee! Oh, and I sometimes call lunch ‘dinner’, just to confuse things!

Well done, esmy, beanie and lush.

    Happy birthday for Sunday, beanie.

You must have worked very hard to conquer those syns, merlin!

Very different here down sarf! :)

We have breakfast, lunch and supper. Dinner is if we eat out or have guests and several courses. Tea is just a drink or on special occasions a meal with cakes and sandwiches.

I never have tomato sauce (from a bottle) or even ketchup!:rotfl:

Well I think I need an award for the most monumental summer gain!

Have been away for pretty much the whole summer holidays. A week in Scarborough/Whitby area, wedding anniversary, 2 week all inclusive cruise, my birthday (which with my dysfunctional separated family involved several different celebrations one of which was a 9 course taster meal with wine pairing at a fancy restaurant!) has led to a hefty 16 pound gain! Whoops!

I can wholeheartedly say that I had a fab time though and am not bothered in the slightest. It came off before, it will come off again and I enjoyed my holiday.

Had weigh in on Wednesday and have been good since then! Was back to school yesterday and today and lunch was provided but I was very good and sat and ate my salad whilst everyone else tucked into some lovely looking food! The cakes and sweets in the staffroom have started already but I've declined.

Weekends are often my downfall as me and hubby don't normally plan what we're doing and end up eating out somewhere. Was determined to be good though so went to Tesco tonight and stocked up for the weekend so hopefully by the time next Wednesday rolls around I'll have shifted some of the holiday chub!

greentiger Lots of Body Magic. Walking or 40 to 60 km on the Bike. I have a great exercise bike. I bought 3 years ago and it has all the stages to the 2013 Tour de France programmed into it. 33 electronic gears and will go from level to 20% up or down. One day I will get on it and do a full stage of 200 km, but am a long way off yet. I think when I bought it I had great intentions just never got around to them. Love watching bike racing.;)

MissTeach Don't you just love them all you can eat cruises. In the 13 years we have been on cruises I have had to buy 5 Dinner suits because my size just kept growing. The last one we did in Oct 2016 we made a point of walking at least 5 miles a day around the running track. Helped keep the weight gain down to a minimum. Too many free drinks! Have the luxury of being able to drink for free for 4 hours a night! Nothing goes down quicker than a free drink!:D

Scarborough and especially Whitby are so good for Fish and Chips. Only live 23 miles from Scarborough. Off there this afternoon when Hazel gets home from work.

    Have a great day everyone.:D:j:D

    Morning all :A
Been eating a bit differently this week, cut out eggs and cheese (no reason just been eating every day) and have eaten more veg. Resulting WI is 1.4lb loss :j might have been more if I stuck to plan at the weekend :o. Going to try harder this weekend as really want that dress to fit perfectly next weekend :p

My sciatica has spread to both legs :( now not sure if this has anything to do with it but have found when walking dog I put phone in right back pocket. This seems to make that side worse so swapped to left pocket and now that side hurts too, coincidence :think:
Last night was so uncomfortable I didn't sleep well :(

Last week of holibobs next week before school is back, mixed emotions at the moment. Looking forward to getting back to routine but stressing already about the child :( trying to focus on the fact it's just the morning then I'm at other end of school so can block it out :D.
Really hoping my pain has gone by then!

Bit of a miserable start here, supposed to brighten up though. Hope everyone has a good bank holiday weekend. Hope those working can get a bit of a break too :A
    Keep the faith all :A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

  • thank you all for the warm welcome, what a lovely group this is! I've spent the last 2 days scrutinising the books and app. I am struggling a bit to get my head around some aspects of it but thats because I have always been a WW girl and SW is completely new to me! I did shop in Iceland yesterday buying some of SW ready meals, some meat and seafood and that came to £51, then off to Asda this morning which came to £72! I'm hoping these are just start up costs because I definitely can't afford that every week! I'm hoping that once I get the swing of it and learn what I like (ie. fave cereal, yogs) I can bulk buy when offers are on. Getting my shopping bill down will be additional motivation for me to stick with it!
One question I have is can you save up your syns? I have a friend who says she has no syns in the week and saves them up for the weekend. But I haven't so far found any reference to saving up syns?

I just had my weekend breakfast too consisting of 3 rashers bacon, 2 scrambled eggs, dry fried mushrooms and 1/4 can baked beans. I had 1 x slice wholemeal toast (because it was from 800g loaf) and a scrape of extra light marg on it. If I have this right, all is free except toast is from HEB and I should syn the marg?

I hadn't, but I've suddenly sprouted a bump this week :D Had to succumb to maternity jeans at 19 and a half weeks... I'm gonna get weighed on Monday morning and see.

I'm the same but I remembered the salad bar and thought I'd give it a go. Never again :D

Celebrity Masterchef tried their best to sabotage me with a crispy bacon, poached egg and homemade hash brown challenge last night.

So, I decided to make an SW version this morning and had a lean bacon, fried in frylight egg and Asda hash brown sandwich. HEXB bread and 3 syns for 2 hash browns. Followed by fruit :)
