:T well done esmy. Taking fruit out with you is a good idea (just avoid cucumber;)). I find that bananas or satsumas are easiest.
Glad you had a good weekend merlin even if the hotel was rubbish. That's unusual for a Premier Inn to cook to order, they generally have a buffet. I'm staying in one in Stratford next month, hope I have a better experience. You could have SW friendly snacks when you're driving you know??;)lushlifesaver wrote: »I have realised I am far more capable that I give myself credit for so I will be fighting my (current) line manager to ensure everything the MD has said will happen does (as it is current line manager always holding me up/back!)
ecstatic to say I am -1lb this morning. I have reached the point where I am happy to take the scenic route - one meal/snack at a time and 0.5-1lb at a timethere is time to reach target and more to life than tears over food and what the scales say!
I've done my meal plan and will shop later. Dinner might change if I'm a bit short of time but if it does it'll be for something else on the plan and SW friendly.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 fried eggs, HEB toast, mushrooms and tomatoes, HEA milk for drinks
L: lentil and veg soup, ham salad (SP lunch)chicken 'kiev', SW chips and Speed veg (not sure which yet)
Syns: gin:D0 -
Hi all, anyone have a really tasty tomato sauce that doesn't have garlic or chilli in it please? Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

15.05 synsMorning everyone- beautiful sunny day in store here so might have to unearth the sandals.
1.5lb off for me this week. Delighted with that as I've had a couple of days over syns. I have realised that I cannot let myself get hungry as that's when things go wrong so I plan to carry around fruit and maybe an Alpen light bar when I'm out and about. I also think that I don't drink enough generally so any tips for upping my water intake would be great.
Congrats Merlin on SOTW last week - what a great weekend and no damage done in the end!
Welcome back returners, well done losers and keep going everyone.

wheelchair rugby is great - if you ever get the opportunity to come and see the sport I encourage you to do so. Kids especially seem to love it

Hi, I just joined my local group on Weds and am still trying to get my head around the basics! I have a couple of questions please. Firstly, is there a way of calculating syn values? I know there is online and books but what if I cant find something? just would be useful to be able to work it out if Im in the supermarket.
Secondly, whats the recommended basic yoghurt? I'm planning to have the oats with fruit and yoghurt for my brekkie. Thanks!!:heart2: Cookiepops :heart2:0 -

Thanks Bubbs
Not such a great day today.
Breakfast was fine - cheese on toast with an apple and some strawberries (HEXA and HEXB)
But I went to the doctors and didn't account for being starving afterwards. A trip to the Morrisons salad bar was sadly lacking in salad*, I just about got my third speed into the large bowl in onion, peppers, gherkins and diced cucumber, but the rest was a mix of pasta and mayo dishes and an onion bhaji
Still full from it now and I can have the last of my speedy beef and vegetable soup for tea as Top Bloke is grabbing something on his way in from work and Top Boy is at his dad's, but I think I am well over syns. Such is life.
Tomorrow's plan is
B - Bacon and mushroom toastie and an apple
D - Pesto pasta n sauce and salad
T - Chinese beef noodles
Syns if I fancy any on some low syn crisps or a couple of biscuits.
HEXA will be milk x 2 or x 1 and 3 Babybel lightsDepends on the weather and whether I require copious amounts of Yorkshire Tea or not!
* HOWEVER - the Morrisons had loads of the WW HEXB wraps so I am very excited at the prospect of corned beef pasties next week0 -

I use Asda fat free fromage frais in mine
20 calories is one syn but only if the food has no free food allowance. So it can't be used on things like sausages, yoghurt, etc.0
