When did tomato sauce become ketchup?? Must be a trendy thing.:D

I've had one of those 'could have been worse ' days. SW breakfast (scrambled egg on HEB toast) then went for a day out in London with my friend. Shared a lunchtime sandwich then had moules frites for dinner. One of those little buckets of fries and a lovely mackerel and beetroot salad for starters with just a little horseradish mayo. Oh and wine syns! :o

Norfolk is beautiful, and you clearly have good tastes to marry a northerner.

Well that was a well spent 20 minutes reading through. Having a few Giggles. Wow Purple! Loved the dress! Shoes not my cup of tea! as to the rest of it I wont say anymore! ;)

Well done to the losers and the STS. To everyone else keep trying it will come in the end.

My weekend away at my sons was eventful. Stopped for a MacDonald's on the way down. A quick 4 Hamburgers for me. Hazel had a salad. I like to nibble when I am driving. Yes I know I shouldn't do it. Had a great evening with a Takeaway Curry and I think 15 bottles of Budweiser.

Breakfast back at the Premier Inn was big Toast, Yogurts, Fruit, and a big fry up. Cook to order where we were. 47 minutes from order to food at table. Cook can only manage 1 table at a time. (With all the other problems with noise and being ambushed by 3 members of staff when I complained and the mother of one of the other members of staff saying I had upset her daughter! We received a refund on everything!) Will not be staying at that Premier Inn again!

Sunday was spent Golfing with a big Roast meal around 5 pm and Chocolate CAKE!!!!!!!

By my calculations I consumed over 250 syns :eek:during the weekend. Wanted to know how bad it was on Monday morning so I jumped on our scales. I was 6 lb heavier than WI. Have kept myself busy with exercise and doing things around the house. Thankfully it paid off last night at WI.

Some good news our daughter Samantha has taken up the SW way. She does not want to go to meetings but has spent the last week reading the book and looking at what she can eat. I think now with all of us in the house we are our own little group. We only have our main evening meal together which we all have input on so the rest is up to the individual.

Breakfast calls. Have a great day everyone.:)

Off for the weekend again but only 2 nights as DGD coming with us and needs to be home Sunday evening to see a friend who is off to uni after a holiday so no other opportunity to see her another time.

It will be good when I can and careful when I can't!

    Today's plan:

B - bacon & mushroom sandwich (HEB + 3 for spread and brown sauce)
L - jacket sweet potato, tuna mayo (1 syn)
D - steak, new pots, onions, mushrooms

    HEA - milk
    HEB- bread
Syns - 4 as above, wine

Morning everyone- beautiful sunny day in store here so might have to unearth the sandals.

1.5lb off for me this week. Delighted with that as I've had a couple of days over syns. I have realised that I cannot let myself get hungry as that's when things go wrong so I plan to carry around fruit and maybe an Alpen light bar when I'm out and about. I also think that I don't drink enough generally so any tips for upping my water intake would be great.

Congrats Merlin on SOTW last week - what a great weekend and no damage done in the end!

Welcome back returners, well done losers and keep going everyone.

  • I would love to see wheelchair rugby, I bet it is great!

Pleased the job offer is good, they know you and clearly value you x

Thanks sunshinemummy - they certainly know me - not everyone appreciates my value (not to be big headed but I am the only one here who knows how to my job and those of two/three others to provide cover. there is no cover for my job!) but the finance manager has been on at them for ages to give me a chance and now I have it. I have realised I am far more capable that I give myself credit for so I will be fighting my (current) line manager to ensure everything the MD has said will happen does (as it is current line manager always holding me up/back!)

wheelchair rugby is great - if you ever get the opportunity to come and see the sport I encourage you to do so. Kids especially seem to love it :)

ecstatic to say I am -1lb this morning. I have reached the point where I am happy to take the scenic route - one meal/snack at a time and 0.5-1lb at a time :) there is time to reach target and more to life than tears over food and what the scales say!
