    Thanks Bubbs :)

Not such a great day today.

Breakfast was fine - cheese on toast with an apple and some strawberries (HEXA and HEXB)

But I went to the doctors and didn't account for being starving afterwards. A trip to the Morrisons salad bar was sadly lacking in salad, I just about got my third speed into the large bowl in onion, peppers, gherkins and diced cucumber, but the rest was a mix of pasta and mayo dishes and an onion bhaji :o

Still full from it now and I can have the last of my speedy beef and vegetable soup for tea as Top Bloke is grabbing something on his way in from work and Top Boy is at his dad's, but I think I am well over syns. Such is life.

    Tomorrow's plan is

B - Bacon and mushroom toastie and an apple

D - Pesto pasta n sauce and salad

    T - Chinese beef noodles

Syns if I fancy any on some low syn crisps or a couple of biscuits.

HEXA will be milk x 2 or x 1 and 3 Babybel lights :) Depends on the weather and whether I require copious amounts of Yorkshire Tea or not!

Have you put much on though? if i am really hungry when out and dont want fruit i go in tesco or morries and get some warm cooked chicken portions , rip the skin off and munch:rotfl::rotfl:

Glad you had a good weekend merlin even if the hotel was rubbish. That's unusual for a Premier Inn to cook to order, they generally have a buffet. I'm staying in one in Stratford next month, hope I have a better experience. You could have SW friendly snacks when you're driving you know??;)

The problem with the lack of cooked buffet was lack of space.

If its Stratford in London over looking the Olympic park we spent a week there in June 2013 it was great. No problems at all. Plenty of places to eat around there.

If its the Shakespeare one, no idea.

Used to suck extra strong mints but they are 1/2 a syn each. The eating on the move is an Army thing from Germany. Stop grab food then eat on the hoof so to speak. Thankfully I gave up smoking nearly 7 years ago otherwise I would be puffing away like a train. Mind you if I had carried on smoking I might only way 12 stone!

It's the Shakespeare one merlin . I'll report back. I've stayed in others, Liverpool Albert Dock is a favourite, and had no problems.

:T on joining a group cookie . There's an app that you can use in the supermarket. At home you can use the syn calculator if you have the food values. I wouldn't recommend guessing, play safe until you get the hang of it and keep asking questions. We were all where you are once. :)

    Loving the NSV bubbs .:rotfl:

You're doing really well topgirl . It must be a bit easier not using syns for booze. :(

Got lucky in Sainsbury's today with lots of YS meat. Tomorrow I'll be listening to the match while I do some cooking for the freezer. Change of plan tonight, we're having YS salmon, chicken kievs moved to Monday. :)
