You're absolutely spot on with your breakfast cookie. All I'd say is that you need to be sure to get a third of Speed food in and the mushrooms are the only Speed in your breakfast. Don't worry though because you can make it up later in the day. I rarely have much Speed at breakfast but make up for it with more like 50% for lunch and dinner. Or you can snack on Speed fruit. IMO, planning and Speed are the most important aspects of SW.:)
Saving syns isn't the official way (which is why you won't find it written down) but it's very common. Lots of us on here do it. I've done it from Day 1. I eat fairly syn free all week and use all my syns (mostly on booze:o) at weekends.
That seems like a heft grocery bill. How many are you cooking for? What have you been buying (except maybe Frylight) that you weren't buying before that's so expensive? It really doesn't have to be expensive to do SW.
Thanks! I am only shopping for 2 of us!! I normally spend around £70 per week. I think this is just start up costs because I bought lots of meat, pasta and slimming work meals. I would like to try to find a cheaper cereal though to have for my breakfast, I was in ASDA ith my slimming world book and all the branded cereals it recommended weren't cheap. Also I need to find somewhere that does Muller Lights a bit cheaper, I got 8 for £4 in ASDA:heart2: Cookiepops :heart2:0 -

I don't really eat yogurt myself but I think that's about the best current price. You could just have a FF natural yoghurt or an own brand to save a bit.
Personally I rarely have cereal as you don't get much for a HEB. Sainsburys Puffed Wheat gives a good portion or otherwise Weetabix are easy to measure out or porage oats either cooked or overnight with yogurt and fruit.
The shop isn't too bad if it lasts a few weeks. Good idea to try the SW ready meals to see what you think of them but cooking from scratch will be cheaper.
I do most of my shopping in Aldi and can easily stay within your £70 budget for 2 of us.
Chilli is bubbling away in the SC and burgers open freezing.
P.S.greentiger I feel your pain. We were rubbish too but scraped a point.0 -
We did lots of walking whilst we were there but clearly not enough! It definitely didn't help that I worked my way through the cocktail menu but my favourite was one of the milk based ones!
And yes, we had delicious fish and chips in Scarborough and a very delicious afternoon tea as well! It's a bit difficult to read the food values bubbs but I think I found the fat content near the bottom. The prawn cocktail is coming out at 12.5 syns for 100g:eek:
I couldn't agree more beanie. I think tie's employer should be taking their duty of care far more seriously. I don't think switching her to being kicked half the time is a good enough solution.:mad:Sunshinemummy wrote: »I am still winding him up about him eating my chocolate... should be good for at least a week of cups of tea!:D:D:D

Merlin - 15 buds, and live near Scarborough..... I was not sure if you were from Yorkshire, until you complained and got your money back... that is a sure sign!:D:D:D
Yesterday, I forgot to get weighed. I was supposed to be at the races, but agreed to do something to stop a massive delay in something I am working with. So I was up early, set off at 5.30 am drove 90 miles south, had a full day of hell, drove back home arrived at 7pm, 10 minutes to get changed, and drove to York for a night out with the friends that had been at the races. I realised half way there that OH was piddled already. When we arrived, one friend was so ill she went to bed. We had drinks and danced until the early hours of the morning, absolutely exhausted but best exercise over. I had 6 gins and was totally piddled as I had only had tomato and a banana all day (we got there too late for the meal). Today, we had a full breakfast (SW friendly) but since then I have not stopped eating...ham, eggs, quark, popcorn (metcalf skinny version) and now I am eating sliced onion dipped in brown sauce..... I may tell OH I am pregnant!

Just checked SW online, if it's Waitrose chilled prawn cocktail (200g pot), it's 29 per pot. If it's the reduced fat one (also 200g), its 15 per pot.
Hope this helps.
