Pleased the funeral went well, although I did chuckle that this was followed by the food you ate... :rotfl::rotfl::/ x

 Excuse me! Could we change that to the food I did NOT eat! It's a SW thread after all! :D

My friend was as fussy about how she looked as I am so she'd have understood. I wore a dress she particularly liked so she'd have been very disappointed if I couldn't get into it. ;)

Football tonight was a shambles so we won't be going to Wembley this year ( other than to play Tottenham). :(

I've stuck to G&T since my holiday denise to save syns until today.

Day out in London tomorrow with a friend, we're going to Buckingham Palace to see the Queen's pressies and the state rooms and probably consume more wine syns. I'm definitely taking the scenic route back to target but I'll get there. We all will. Keep plodding! Isn't that right beanie :A

  • I hope you have negotiated a large pay rise in your new position....... enough to end the lack of fresh food at the end of the month (and have a few nights out partying) x

much better prospects in new role at current employer and a decent package; not just in monetary terms but also the additional benefits both taxable and not taxable (healthcare inc no salary sacrifice, parking paid for, paid for training with study release etc etc) :)

pay day - woo! So brekkie was heb shreddies with hea milk
snacks - 2 gingernuts which is most of my syns I think
lunch: rogan josh left overs (1 syn)
tea: not sure yet. going to pick something up at lunch. I'm thinking either chicken and rice w/ veggies or a salad.

little one has a drs apt tonight but not until nearly 8pm (need to see a specific dr and very unhelpful receptionists!) so will probably go and pick up fresh bits after tea to get us through the weekend.

wheelchair rugby all day Saturday; I'm helping ref/officiate so that will keep me busy and no toddler to entertain. buffet food (we're all chipping in sandwiches etc) so I am going to make a pasta salad to take and a tub of fruit salad and stay away from the buffet! there will be lots of cups of tea though!

    Hi FE, welcome back :A
I wi on Saturday morning then [STRIKE]binge[/STRIKE] eat what I like :o. Back on it Monday morning though :D

Hubby has a mate who he has helped out a lot (lifts etc) and his wife insists on giving him food! We have a huge tub of fried rice with mixed meat (chicken & pork), carrot and cabbage plus chillies . Hubby boxed it up, kept a tub out and froze the rest. I seem to be the only one eating it :D. There were 3 portions in the tub which I had over 3 days for lunch. I have no idea about syns but kept other syns to minimum and hope for the best. Other syns have just been honey on breakfast and ketchup on tea :A

Hoping for a loss this week as totally fed up with sciatica pain :(

Weighed in this morning and pleasantly surprised at just a 0.5lb gain after 2 weeks off plan on holiday. Had a relief consultant and she was really complimentary about it.

    Today's plan:

    B -strawberries - after WI
L - scrambled eggs on toast; nectarine
D - HM SW faggots (from freezer) in onion gravy, mash & red cabbage (from freezer)

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - stuffed vine leaf (small one) 2 syns; gravy 1 syn; wine:D and I'm going to enjoy it.

FE - welcome back. You'll have gathered that I weigh on a Thursday morning. I have what I want from today until Sunday evening and then check Monday morning how many syns I've had and work out how many I have left for Monday - Wednesday. Works for me (most of the time!).

Wow just logged on and saw all the back reading to do. Had a busy week.

Just been to WI. I lost 3 lbs and got my 1 stone award. Hazel lost 2 lbs and got her 2 stone award.

Will be back in the morning to catch up.

Ketchup on tea is confusing. Up north we call our evening meal tea.... but we call the red stuff tomato sauce not Ketchup..... lol

    Today I have had:

    Breakfast - apple/tomato
    Lunch - salad and chicken
    tea - Veg sir fry.

Yesterday a lovely lady gave me mint aero for me to have as an emergency chocolate... I came home today to find OH had ate it!

    :(:(:(
