Week 33 weigh in last night. I lost another 1 pound
Really really want to get my 5 stone award next week!
I have come to the end of my 12 week "GP referral" exercise plan.
I have lost 6kg, 12cm from my waist and over 6% of my body fat. My blood pressure and heart rate have also reduced. I will continue my fitness regime by running in park runs on Saturdays..... and outdoor gyms at the local park.Slimming world new starter 2/1/17:D:DWeight loss so far 5 stone 8 lbs

Well done Merlin on being our SOTW and thanks to Shala for the chart.
Welcome back LLS, you know we always welcome back people who have drifted away. You're so right about planning ahead. I always plan a month in advance - I know that's more than most people but of course it always changes at some point due to LOs needing to be used up or something crops up and we need to eat out at luchtime instead of getting back home but it certainly helps - and also means I can use a lot of food from the freezer.
Today is an SP day - don't do these often but trying to do a bit of damage limitation after my holiday!
B - boiled eggs, asparagus to dip
L - LO cottage pie with swede & carrot mash (from freezer); will also do some green veg, probably cabbage as I have about 3/4 of a cabbage in the fridge - which won't keep forever!
D - herby pork meatballs in ratatouille sauce (will boil up a few new potatoes for DH to have with it.
HEA - will be milk as usual
HEB1 - bread & butter with dinner (to mop up the tomatoey juices)
HEB2 - 2 HiFi Lights (one choc macaroon and one rocky road)
Syns - light spread 2 (2 tsps)
My consultant put on our Facebook page that Aldi are changing the recipe of the Benefit bars and will no longer be HEB so if you like these then stock up with the old ones while you can!

afternoon all,
sorry for being AWOL - life has just been busy the last week or so!
I have been generally on plan with the exception of the weekend but that was planned as I was away for the weekend with great friends that due to living so far apart, familys etc we only get together twice a years so I am not going to beat myself up about it!
So WI this morning and happy to report a loss of -0.5lbsmall but better than nothing!
I was completely on plan yesterday (even had an alcohol free day!) and so far on plan today with my only syns being for sugar in my tea.
I have a really good friends wedding in 5 weeks so hoping that that thought will keep me on track !
Off to the gym again this evening - for anyone that struggles with body magic - keep with it, small things each day do make a difference and I have found that the routine of it helps keep me on track!walk 2018 miles in 2018 - 781 of 2018

:T to all the losers since I last posted. Well done!
Thanks for the heads up on the Benefit bars denise. I do buy them although I rarely eat them myself. They're to give DH a healthier option than his usual buns and biscuits!;)
Congratulations on your promotion lush. Will it mean more work/hours? You seem busier than ever. Any chance that your DH could take a turn at making the lunches?
Feeling much slimmer today. Getting back on plan always feels good.:)
Tomorrow I'm going to a funeral. Personally I'd like to just go to the service and then come home but I owe it to the family to offer support by going to the reception afterwards. I'll need a lot of willpower to keep away from the buffet.
On Thursday I'm meeting a friend for a day out in London. How SW friendly it will be depends on where we eat/drink. Fortunately then I have a clear week. This is why I've booked a holiday from SW.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: veggie omelette with salad (SP lunch)burger, SW chips, fried onions, courgette, tomato and mushrooms
Syns: 1 for BGTY burger0 -

Thanks maman - I have the choice of staying 4 days or going up to 5, getting an assistant (advertised today on our website and indeed!) and more autonomy as well as my existing health insurance, parking paid for, mileage at a decent pence per mile, subsistence (parking/drinks at meetings/events etc) and adding a performance related bonus of 10% of salary (to be worked up to not introduced as that straight away as final target will be unachievable in the next 4 months!) also a payrise (company wide) in april 18. and the opportunity to negotiate a slight bump on the suggested pay increase. Oh and the plan is to phase me out from current managers reporting line to put me beside them over the course of 12-18m (I want to get that and the timeline agreed in writing). not masses more work than I already undertake especially considering for each new task/responsibility I finally get I will move another task to the new assistant. oh and the company would also pay for me to undertake 1/2 training courses in business processes/financial management and leadership/management.
The other job I am interviewing for seems less attractive when I look at the breakdown of the cost in changing employer/job - we'd no longer get tax credits or childcare tax credits (would put us over 32k a year as a household and even with the disabled element we only get £20 a week now so no doubt we'd lose that) so I'd probably need to do the tax free salary sacrifice for childcare which instantly brings my take home down, no healthcare plan unless salary sacrificed, no chance for pay increase from minimum/basic until feb 19, would have to pay own parking, less mileage paid on expenses and childcare need would go up by half a day so increased cost both ways there and wouldn't get my contacts/dental charges back so extra there!
food wise; didn't bring enough with me today as too rushed so have lapsed and got some fruit pastilles and some doritos from the vender. but still less than usual so I'm calling it progress!************************************

thanks mamanthat's actually much better than I anticipated for the bread.
Just had my cereal; I'll have my fruit once I get to work. will get dressed then sort out the lunches for everyone then head off. i really need to get back to prepping food the night before - i think that's why its so much easier to plan for a week then prepare as much as possible in advance.
We are off to Centre Parcs in about four weeks for a Monday to Friday break. on the Monday we are also going to Longleat Safari Park so i will pack a sw picnic for that, Monday night we have booked one of the restaurants as its our wedding anniversary then I'm going to plan the four other meals and lunches and take food with us (plan to prepare/cook as much in advance and just quickly cook whilst there). I'm going to measure out my hebs etc before and take them all ready to eat to keep on trackI think i may even 'reward' myself for sticking to plan with a manicure towards the end of the week or when we get back

Evening gobster!
Todays meals............
Breakfast - overnight oats.
Lunch - tomato and grapes (don't ask, I was meant to have beans. tomato and grapes..... but it never worked out!)
Tea - I cannot get in the kitchen, as DS2's girlfriend has returned to live with us after her holiday with her mum. They are making papaya salad... so the kitchen is a no go zone. I have however researched papaya seeds, and ate a few of them!
I have just been told that instead of going to do her masters in September she is going to look for a job were we live, and live with us. I NEED CHOCOLATE AND BREAD AND PASTRY NOW, IMMEDIATELY, DESPERATELY.....:o:o:o:o100 -
I've also been AWOL for many months. I hope everyone is keeping well.
I am thinking of rejoining SW but online SW membership rather than an actual class. If you have done it online, how would you rate it?0 -
Great to see you Lush
Was just thinking of you the other day.
