Namely the cheesecake recipe towards the back of the latest magazine (October), says to use a food processor. I tried it today, I know it's easy but the gelatine mixture went solid so I ended up having to strain it out, as the only thing I'd got to use was an electric whisk.
So the yoghurt hasn't set really like I would want it to.
Thanks x
I'd like to widen your question for any 'must have ' gadgets and recommendations.

I have a very basic one and find I use it quite a lot - HM low syn coleslaw, HM hummus, mixing meat and herbs/spices etc for burgers or meatballs. I don't make sweets at all - sweetener doesn't suit me - so can't help with the cheesecake. My most useful gadget though is my handheld blender for making soupIn the motorhome, of course! Couldn't afford 3 months in a hotel (and wouldn't want to be in one place for 3 months anyway, LOL!)
No idea where we'll end up but starting in France in September and hoping to do the German christmas markets end of November/early December; but in between could be anywhere but likely to be France/Belgium/Luxemburg/Germany. A lot depends on the weather.

What a wonderful holiday! I'd recommend a visit to Berlin if you haven't been before - very interesting city with lakes and palaces on the outskirts.0 -
Thanks for being so gracious, beanie :A. Maman, I am still annoyed, but a little less. Therapy was seeing my granddaughter be mascot for the team (women) that my son manages. Also the team won the cup tie 7-0, going on 17-0. DH did even better – he watched our grandson’s team win 12-1!
Well done, orlao and tweets.
I have a purple fascinator, forgot that! Shoes don’t look great on me, shala, because my legs are still rather chunky.
Welcome back, Denise. I’m sure you’ve had a great break. Where are you off to for 3 months? ETA, just found your probable itinerary; it sounds great – I am so jealous.
Am still in self destruct mode ☹

Kenwood make a small processor with quite a few attachments which I find quite useful. It costs around £30-£35 so quite a low price for something so useful. I got mine in Tesco but don't know if they still do them but certainly available from other places - try Debenhams, John Lewis, Amazon etc.

Shopping list done. No Speed for breakfast this morning as no fruit - thought I had some frozen in the freezer but couldn't find it.
Today's plan - another Green day:
B - porridge made with water
L - jacket potato, beans, salad
D - mushroom & spinach lasagne (8.5 syns:eek:). This is because the sauce is made with 1/2 fat creme fraische) but will look to see if I can find a lower syn white sauce (I've got the SW sauce book so will look in there).
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - paramasan (in sauce)
HEB1 - porridge
HEB2 - not sure if I'll need it but perhaps Ryvita & quark spread on
