thank you all for the lovely warm welcome, this has definitely help motivate me to know I have made the right choice! I am joining a class on Weds but in the mean time can I have some pointers please as to whats on the A list and B list? Also how may syns can I have? Thanks!

The lists of HEXs are in a link on the first post of the thread cookie and the list of Speed fruit and veg.

You can have up to 15 syns a day. It's not the official SW way but many of us use a weekly syn 'bank' of 105 syns and subtract from that. I've done it from Day 1 and it's worked well. I prefer to have most of my syns at weekends and then go fairly syn free during the week. It depends whether you need a daily treat to keep motivated.

Many commiserations greentiger. I know exactly how you feel:(. We almost threw it away but got lucky in the dying moments. Our match was full of incidents and we're first on MOTD tonight. Unheard of!

I managed to get my food shopping done on the way home from the game too so I can relax a bit tomorrow.:)

    Evening all,

-2lbs this week please Shala. Lovely to see you back and what a fantastic loss, silver linings and all that eh?

Hope Kathrynha and Wiz are having lovely holidays.

TIE, that dress and your shoes are a fantastic colour, what a clever DH you have. The only clothes mine would buy would be black, lacey and nylon, well you get my drift....:D

Hoping Sunshinemummy and beanie are recovering.

Welcome to Cookiepops and I know exactly what you mean about offices being full of people who eat constantly, always some reason to have loads of junk sitting there calling to me! Like Oscar Wilde, the one thing I can't resist is temptation :rotfl:

I lived in The Highlands for a year nearly 30 years ago now. Gorgeous place and people and I came away with an ambition to have a Highland Pony all of my own.Working on that now that I wouldn't squash one...

Apologies to anyone I've missed. I haven't been on here for a few days and had many, many posts to catch up on.

    Morning all.

Well I got weighed yesterday and had gone 1lb over my target range!

Was kind of expecting it really, as I've been off work this week, so I've not had my morning and afternoon walk to and from work. My exercise has definitely slipped this week!

Need to work hard this week to get back it off again, as I don't want to start paying at group!

    Have a good day everyone!

Love that dress, TIE – well done, that man. I have purple shoes that I got years ago in M&S – and a clutch bag – for a wedding. (

Oh good point Greentiger - TIE, do you have a bag for your outfit ;) love handbags as well as shoes :rotfl: they're the only bit of an outfit that's always look good on me!

Did some batch cooking earlier, the old El Paso mini tortillas with Mexican chicken. Made 10 at 2-3 syns each so that's some lunches sorted, 5 portions of over night oats :D and I still have some butternut squash soup left from last week. It's brilliant being organised, just wished it was less bothersome to do it :rotfl:

    So today's menu
    B - none
L - chilli and lime chicken. Wholemeal roll (heb) Mayo (1) salad, crisps (lots of syns :o)
T - hunters chicken, sweet potato, corn, salad (syns for BBQ sauce)
    S - ham, chicken

Probably a bit over on syns today but better than the last few Sunday's! I find weekends really hard :(

Anyway hope you all have a wonderful Sunday whatever you're up too xx
