Thanks for the welcome backs x well done on all your losses since I've been gone.. :T:T you're all brilliant!I'm managing fine with the chart. It's good to keep busy. However if you are around 18th-27th (next Friday for a week), I am away, so someone to look after the chart whilst I'm away would be good, thanks
No problem at all
glad you've managed to get some decent pain relief!Sunshinemummy wrote: »Shala.... your dad sounds a great character, how adventurous!greentiger wrote: »Glad to see you back again, shala. Happy your Dad is ok – what an adventurer! Just realised he’s younger than my DH!
Hmmm a character and adventurer is not what I called him on Thursday evening  He was lucky there was nothing coming the other way when he fell off otherwise he'd have been squished!
He's fine though, thanks, nothing broken, just a bit bruised around the ribs where the bike hit him.
Hi Alleycat, we had Braised Steak and gravy the other day, it's quite a favourite on here - you can easily adapt the recipe for the slow cooker.http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/braised_steak_with_gravy_24508 and it's very low in syns if you use spray oil. Fantastic weight loss as well :T well done for keeping the majority off.
So yesterday I wasn't completely on plan as my sister came to visit and we went out for lunch, but i'm working on a new system where I don't blow the whole day just because I've had one off plan meal. It worked ok and my tea was sw friendly :T along with not suddenly stuffing my face with biscuits and crisps and sweets all night because "i'd blown it anyway"!
Todays menu
Brunch - 2 boiled eggs, toast, flora (1)
Tea - roast chicken, spring onion mash, carrots, mange tout, 1syn gravy, 1.5 syn yorkshire pudding, 1.5 syn stuffing
Snacks - apple, carrots, crisps (5) chocolate pudding (4.5syns)
Tonight's main task is a meal plan but I've made a start with batch preparing my breakfasts for the week, it's fab, must start doing lunches too!
So 3 lots of carrot cake overnight oats made and 2 lots of apple and coconut yogurt overnight oats. Tomorrow's lunch will be leftover chicken in a Yorkshire pudding wrap (3syns) with salad.
Have a good evening xxMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

Well done on your loss sunshinemummy :T
I've had a great day. It's our wedding anniversary and the sun was shining so we went to the seaside! I had a SW breakfast before we went (beans on toast) then just a coffee at lunchtime (DH had cake). Later we had fish & chips. Well it's the law at the seaside isn't it? :rotfl:
I was very SW conscious and took (I think IIRC) kathryna's advice and only ate some batter from the top.
Then I had a few gins to celebrate before we caught the train home.
So, no Speed . The only veg was beans and mushy peas. I'm calling it a synful Green day.
I had a NSV. I wore the same skirt today I had on last Monday. Last week it was uncomfortable around the waist, today it felt loose. Well it did before the fish and chips!
Back on plan 100% tomorrow. Hope we all have a good week coming up. We can do this!! :A0 -
Wow, some amazing losses. Put them all in the spreadsheet.
Had the weekend off, and amazingly, when purposefully not following the plan, I haven't wanted all the off plan stuff, so generally not a bad weekend, and well and truly within my syns.
Back on it today. Last day at work before my holiday, which I am really looking forward to, with decent pain relief I should be able to relax, even if I can't drink at all.
Today's plan:
Breakfast - fruit
Lunch - miso noodles
Dinner - stir fry
Snacks - strawberries, quavers, cereal bars, ginger sweets
HA - milk
HB - cereal bars
Syns - quavers (3), miso (0.5), ginger sweetsZebras rock0
