Shala.... your dad sounds a great character, how adventurous!
Hope he is okay x
Food today has been disasterous
Breakfast - peach and yoghurt at 6 am.
Manic day
Petrol station at 7 pm - I bought a pack of ham and diet coke!100 -
You should be fine with that bubbs . Your breakfast and lunch don't look very substantial though so don't go hungry.
You won't do any harm going without your HEB for a day but you do need fibre but can get it from veg. There's a huge list of HEBs, take a look.
Out of curiosity, what were you eating before that made you put weight on? You make such lovely meals so hardly think you were having junk.
I wasnt hungry, i used to eat chocolate....lots of:rotfl: crisps usually 1 bag a week, pastry, nice home made cakes and pies, loved jelly sweets..........see the pattern, plus my normal food:eek:

Enjoy your holiday, Denise.
Ha ha, Ceycey, if I had a sworn enemy here, it would have to be beanie, but she’s far too nice for that!
Hi, motivated, pleased to meet you.
kathrynha, I’m so sorry your week’s been rubbish. I hope the weekend lets you recharge a little. You are an amazing person the way you have coped with your health issues and working and figuring out a work around for SW. It’s harder than you than it is for me and I don’t have the dedication that you do. Take care.
ETA glad you had a positive hospital visit – now take that advice! You can take it out on me as much as you like!
Well done, bubbs, merlin and esmy.
Glad to see you back again, shala. Happy your Dad is ok – what an adventurer! Just realised he’s younger than my DH!
Fishy week continues
Yesterday was catastrophic although I did stick to my fishy menu; it was all the unplanned extras that let me down. At least today was better.
Breakfast: scrambled egg with smoked salmon
Lunch: spicy cod burger on hexb roll, with red onion, gherkin & mint dressing, pear
Dinner: salmon, asparagus & lemon pasta, WW raspberry yogurt
Snacks: finger of fudge (6)

Glad I found this I could do with some support! I'm following SW but at home not going to meetings yet
Back in 2010 I was 21 stone, I lost the weight my own way not following any plans, I got to 11 stone doing this, but in the past 3 years I've gained 3 stone back! I can't do what I did before because I was so strict and I don't have that motivation anymore and I feel I need a bit more freedom I love food! I did SW last year and lost 10lbs but then stopped and put it back on.
My issue is I'm really busy and a lot of the tasty food that's SW friendly requires cooking and prep, so any slow cook recipes I can be shown would be helpful? Thanks everyone0 -
maman With Hazel working and me sitting at home we only have the same main meal in the evening. Hazel also has different choices. I put mine down to doing more fitness. At the moment I am trying to concentrate on cardio as apposed to weight lose by training at a certain heart rate. Probably should be trying to do it the other way round but once I am fitter I can get back to running. Will get much more weight loss then. If my body can take it.
Also Hazel has not stopped rubbing it in about losing more which to me makes it all worth while to me.
kathrynha Hope the pain killers help. Like others have said take the pressure off for a while. Take a break. Looking at what you have lost this year I think you have earned it.
bubbs Takes a lot to scare me off although when I managed an office with 19 women in it in the early 90's it came close! The 40k's was hard first time I had been on it in nearly a year! Brusied bottom from very hard saddle.
Sunshinemummy I hope you meant bottom of your bag and not Back as you have said! The cucumber was obviously seen as an Offensive Weapon!:D
alleycat465 Welcome to the thread. I have only been hear a couple of weeks, but lots of great advice and ideas can be found here.

Welcome Alleycat. Losing 10 stone on your own is an amazing achievement. If you know what you want to lose in the next 3 weeks I will add you to the spreadsheet.
For quick but good meals try frozen veg. I know Morrisons has a brilliant range, and I'm sure other shops do too. It gets rid of all the prep and is just as good for you as fresh stuff. Also tends to be cheaperZebras rock0 -
Thank you all for all your kind words. Pain relief patches starting to kick in, and I actually got a bit of half decent sleep last night. Feeling a little more human today, after a week where I have been so emotional and not in control.
I am taking your advice and taking a couple of days off plan. Just going to try and not eat too stupidly.Zebras rock0 -
Hello lovelies!
A few days off plan for me as we went up North to see Top Man's family. First time meeting them and they're all lovely
I once went to Court with Top Boy's dad over contact and I'd taken him his daddy mug with photos of him and Top Boy on and they confiscated that, presumably in fear I'd throw it at him
Today will be a relaxed day back.
B - Cheese and coleslaw sandwixh (HEXA, HEXB and 2.5 syns worth of coleslaw)
D - Unsure yet. Maybe a Mugshot (1) and fruit
T - Slow cooked Chinese beef noodles
BM - Trip to Asda for fruit and salad.
First day of the season for us today so will probably have some crisps during the game in the absence of cider. 22.5 weeks to go. Up the reds!0 -

what does everyone do by the way? and how old? what are your stories/mini bios?? not sure if I am allowed to ask that?!!? But very curious!
Tete - i have read similar things in the past.. i think my binge eating is definitely emotional eating rather than actual hunger! but like you say in true addict style i know I will regret it even as I am stuffing it in my face but at that moment can't seem to help myself! Other times i am totally fine and can resist temptation - so maybe it does have a lot to do with emotional well being on the days I can't say no!!
30, support worker. I've tried dieting on and off for the last 18 years. I lost 2 stone for my holiday to Oz 2 years ago I did that (that update is on the sports bit on here somewhere). Put it all back on and so here I am starting again. I don't go to classes as I don't like being judged (I'm a bit self conscious) plus ive got a friend that ive known for years and we just share ideas and stuff so that helps. Mums half doing it too (I say half as she picks and chooses what she likes and doesn't with it but as long as she's happy I am).

I am struggling...... DS3 has just come into the room and handed a large box of Kristy Kreme doughnuts over.... someone bought him a box for doing a favour for them.
They are the devil in disguise, I am struggling.... I have asked him to take them next door for their kids.... but he is still standing up in front of me holding them!Back from quite a successful hospital appointment.
Got some very strong pain killers, so hoping they cut it. Also got something that will help me sleep at night, to take when needed, but hoping the pain relief will sort that out. Iron levels low, but not dangerously, but the are keeping a close eye on it.
Had a really good talk about how I'm feeling, and the advice is same as you lot have said. Take the pressure off myself for a while, and just eat what I fancy, that I'm allowed and that I can keep down.
Pleased the medication is working xalleycat465 wrote: »Glad I found this I could do with some support! I'm following SW but at home not going to meetings yet

I have a terribly busy life, and no time to think/prep. I just end up eating veg and fruit, with occasional SW meals... usually omelettes!
11 stone is massive loss :T:T:T and to keep the majority off is fabulous as well, I think most of us are on a lifetime journey to keep our weight under control, so welcome back to the journey.
Before I ballooned, I used to weigh myself weekly and alter my diet each week to keep the same weight which worked....... when I eventually get to a reasonable weight (long way to go) I will have to continue to weigh in weekly, and make sure that I continue to eat as healthy as possible so sustain the weight.maman With Hazel working and me sitting at home we only have the same main meal in the evening. Be careful of your joints, as the pressure going through them is twice your weight (according my DS1), people who are snuggly like us are best to do other things, a friend who is a fitness fiend and holds worlds records keeps shouting at me that I should concentrate on using an exercise bike until weight is more reasonable.
Cucumber is my new best friend..... healthy snack that I can take most places... you can normally find a shop that sells them.... they are rather nice tasting/refreshing and take a while to eat which stops me eating rubbish. x100
