  • Hi everyone

Well I lost another 1/2lb this week - a little disappointed as I really thought I had lost more, especially having gone swimming 3 times this week.

I know for the last fortnight I've struggled with drinking water - so I think that's going to be my focus for this week. I'm also going to (try to remember) my weighted belt when I go walking.
Food wise I'm making a spag Bol for tonight & we've got pork for tomorrow so relatively SW friendly.

    Have a good weekend everyone

It is a loss... so :T:T:T:T:T

Have you tried cucumber!....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: just read that it is the top of the list to help with weight loss..... not sure it is having that impact on me.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I am trying to be more organised and hope this helps.

I have the following shopping list formulated (going when OH is watching football).

    Bread (for the family)
    Milk (for the family)
Tinned custard (for OH - he never grew up)
    Eggs x 3 pks
    Ham
    Low fat cheese
Natural yoghurt (FF for me, full fat for the kids).
    tinned tomato
    beans
    Philli light
    quark
    cottage cheese

    Lean beef chunks (stew)
    chicken
    Lean minced beef (Bolognese

    banana
    apple (lots)
    Water melon
papaya (I am going to make a papaya salad as I think this is SW - and it is scrummy).
    lettuce
    cucumbers (:D)
tomato (lots to eat like apples)
    onions
    carrots
    mushroom
    aubergine
    courgette

Good evening all, glad we have the weekend again although each Day seems to be the same. When you are as old as me. I used to have such a hectic life and now it's so boring.

That sounds heartfelt wiz.:) One of the reasons I save syns for weekends is to make them different. That suits me better than a daily treat. I don't mind quiet (but synful) weekends as I'm busy during the week. What would you like to do?

This weekend isn't quiet though. We're out for the day tomorrow and today is the first home game of the season.

First day of the season for us today so will probably have some crisps during the game in the absence of cider. 22.5 weeks to go. Up the reds!

I could say the same but my meaning wouldn't be so polite:D. I'm not feeling very positive going into this season. I'm finding the money sloshing around obscene and as for Van D*ck sulking to get his own way! I am finding a wonderful irony in the comparison with Coutinho though. On SW matters, I'm taking a banana to have with my coffee. Half Time Crunchies won't be resumed until I'm back at target. Every syn counts!

Cucumber is my new best friend..... healthy snack that I can take most places... you can normally find a shop that sells them.... they are rather nice tasting/refreshing and take a while to eat which stops me eating rubbish. x

I've discovered that a slice of cucumber in a gin and tonic is amazing!:D

Welcome alley. Have you bought SW books online? Do ask if we can help in any way.:)

DH has just suggested we have lunch out before the match. I'll find somewhere that does a salad or a JP to keep syns to an absolute minimum.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk
    L: tbc
D: Lamb Rogan Josh with extra Speed, HM pilau, SW chips
Syns: squirt of syrup, 1.5 (I think) for curry and gin!:D

    God I hope so :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

There doesn't seem much to do apart from going to town shopping, but that happens every weekend. I used to see my grandchildren and gt grandchildren but they now live too far away and I can't drive so far nowadays, at one time I drove all over the country. Now I have to wait until they come here.
Still I wake up every morning as yet !! So that can't be bad Eh!

Well I've been brave this afternoon and thrown out all of my 'big' clothes! Can't put any back on now as I'll have nothing to wear.

Welcome Alleycat what an amazing loss!

Years ago, I found a massive pair of wallpaper scissors in the bottom of my back.... from decorating mum's living room 6 months before.... during that period my bag had been through court security a few times a week.... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Clearly they only confiscate cucumbers, water and camera! :D:D:D:D:D

    :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I was thinking how the heck did they end up in your back! Then I read on :rotfl:

Wi with the loss of last weeks gain 1.8lb, was hoping for more but a loss is a loss :o
Been to the coast with hubby and dog yesterday. Dog not keen on the sea :( enjoyed the beach though :D. Walking in sand is good BM :D

I love my hubby dearly, he's always thinking of my tum issues :D. He has made Nadia's ploughman tart but with a crispy potato base instead of pastry :A. Not too bad sw wise as will only have small slice :p. We have also got ingredients for her crisp, chocolate and peanut tart which definitely isn't sw friendly  making that later :o

Have a good weekend all :A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    Hi all,

Well the upwards spiral continues +3lbs. It really is time to draw a line and get back on it!

Hope all are well, some great losses and even the gains are miniscule compared to mine...
