i'm now out of my 12 month o2 premium broadband contract, and I am paying £10/month for it.
Is there any point in calling cancellations or anything in hope of getting some months free or discounts, or don't they do that?"0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0 -

If you commit to a fresh 12m+ commitment they will give you the same deals as a fresh customer starting a 12m+ ie the first 3m free; alternatively you will usually find they will offer a £2.50/m discount for 12m.

Brand new offer just started by o2 wont be availble for long though , at the moment if u call the o2 home broadband disconnection team & say you are wanting to go to a competitor you can get 6 mths free on your current package , if you agree to o2 home phone as well you can get 12mths free broadband, only available to existing customers who say they are thinking of leaving ,

Juggling with the idea of O2 as im a mobile customer
Is the 100 days guarantee mean I can cancel if its rubbish?
Is it really unlimited? I read somewhere that its capped?
Im considering going with Sky as they are truly uncapped and I cant sign up with quidco for the O2 due to their ongoing address match error.
Currently got the post office telephone which seems brilliant, no min contract, free mobile calls at weekend and for europe too, so happy to not change landline at the mo.
Dont know if anyone has mentioned this but you can sign up to the post office with no min contract if you need someone to change over from for the ISP's that need an existing line.0 -

I have been with O2 for about 4 years as a mobile phone user and their customer service has always been excellent, I have just renewed my broadband with them (never had any problems with capping or connection)and got my landline through them (bye bye BT and your rubbish customer service - in my experience). The landline deal and broadband is costing me £20/month, this includes any calls anytime, including 600 mins of 0845/0870 type numbers and 600mins of calls abroad per month, the only thing not included are calls to mobiles, it was the best deal I could find and I really shopped around.0

I've also been with o2 for 3 years and they are quite frankly, the best ISP yet. Excellent speed, freephone helpline, uncapped and as an o2 mobile customer, reduced rate! Don't know what your problem is with Quidco, as I did it when I joined o2. Phone o2 on 08002300202 and discuss with them. Or try one of the other cashback companies."0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0 -

I'm fairly sure its 30 days (from activation) - you may want to check this before you go ahead (broadband.o2.co.uk/home/whyo2.jsp). Sorry its not a hyperlink, but forum thinks I am a new user and trying to spam you.
Cheers

I've been with O2 Broadband for nearly two years now. Bargain at £7.50 a month. Even my first year with them worked out at only a couple of quid due to the Quidco cash back!
Then I got 3 months free to stay with them for a second year! Hope they offer that again this time round!0 -
They are unlimited if your lucky enough to be on the LLU exchange deal (which i am) I have been with them for 10 months and i have had my fair share of problems for example they were billing me £5 per month for static IP which i did get back in the end and also when router resets itself it can take hours to get a connection but i feel my story is unlucky, having said that they have still yet to sort it, so it's a mixed bag IMO but ££ wise i think they offer a fair deal, still not made up my mind if i will resign with them or not time will tell.
