You let BT know after you have migrated over to 02 and ask to cancel your account.*Steve*

Hi, i need some help. Anyone have experience switching from BT to O2?
Does O2 notified BT Broadband that i had transferred over to them and canceled my account? or i have to cancel the BT Broadband myself when i got my O2 broadband? Thank you very much!
it's the same as a mobile contract, you obtain the MAC from BT to then give O2 who then arrange for your connection to be un-bundled from BT, the use of the MAC will then serve to cancel your BT account subject to you being out of contract0 -

thanks, that looks really inconvenience.
My contract ends on July 6th, do i have to get charged for 1 month in advance since my O2 activation date is 9th of June.
Thanks again!:beer:it's the same as a mobile contract, you obtain the MAC from BT to then give O2 who then arrange for your connection to be un-bundled from BT, the use of the MAC will then serve to cancel your BT account subject to you being out of contract
Yes, It works well for me on the mobile but i have no experience on the landline. Normally i pay my BT Line Rental & Bt Broadband through cash. Do you think i should give them a call, but that looks inconvenience really as they keep persuade me for their product everytime i called.

You will have to pay up to the end of your contract.0

I know i have to pay until July 6th (end of contract), and the switch only done at June 9th. Do i have to pay them for the August as well since they need 30 days notice?
It sounds as if you haven't ended your contract as you originally posted:I know i have to pay until July 6th (end of contract)
If you haven't yet given notice to end your contract, do so. You will have to pay until your contract ends (ie at the completion of the notice period).0 -

A Ping of 28 is excellent. I get around double that and have no problems.
The password your Wii is searching for is probably the Wireless Access code password - which should be written on the inside of your Setup CD.
Alternatively you can find this by connecting directly to the O2 Wireless Box and browsing to
http://o2wirelessbox.lan/
Then clicking on Home Network > Interfaces > WLAN
You should see a box at the bottom with the code in it.Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

I have been reading the posts on O2 Broadband. We can only get the Access package for £17.50. Is this as good a quality as their cheaper packages????
Is anyone else on this package? Recommendation would be great, please?
Thanks
