You will save £10/month with o2.
Minimum contract is a year, but you can try it for 50 days, and if you don't like it, cancel and get your money back.
Fair usage problems have never arisen (yet!).0 -

Now read the user manual for your router and change from WEP to WPA-PSK encryption as WEP is easily compromised. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
i have set up my new o2 broadband today after leaving tiscali.
I set it up with no problems. I didn't see the front of the wireless box light up like it said but it works OK.
Not sure what it meant by configuring firewall that were not on there list so as to allow updates. I am with zone alarm so i am not sure how to configure that.
but otherwise great !!!!!!!!!0 -

You should receive a delivery confirmation email from O2 with SMS. for me O2 used 'DPD'. www.dpd.co.uk
u can O2 customer service free from Landline at 08002300202 or from O2 mobile at 8002300202 for free.
Good Luck0 -
I just spoke to a guy at BT who was extremely rude! I'm currently with bulldog b/band and am defo looking at moving to O2. He suggested that if I was to move over to a BT line they couldn't guarantee that O2 would work in my area they could only guarantee BT b/band. I thought it was quite funny as he was in the BT sales department & he seemed to be putting me off from signing up to BT??? I called bk O2 who said I cud defo get their service as I only live 2 blocks away from the exchange. Mad world eh?0

I have a couple of comments myself now, 3 months down the line...
I've just discovered that the email has max 10Mb file size so...
Three months down which line? And whose email has a max 10MB file size?
Did it cross your mind to give anybody the slightest clue what you are talking about?
Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:
As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

Am just about to sign up for an O2 mobile monthly contract so am now considering whether I should move to O2 BB.
Currently with Plusnet paying £15 odd a month & have a BT landline. Have also considered taking up the combined home/broadband package from Plusnet. Yet another investigation to do...
I'd like to know whether there's any way of swapping broadband providers & keeping the same e-mail address or at least running the two alongside each other for a while. I'm not sure otherwise how you know that you've let absolutely everyone know that your e-mail address has changed. Even if you e-mail your contact list there are still people/organisations that get missed - eg ones that send you stuff but you never reply to
Oh for goodness sake - I need to lie down in a darkened room already... my head just starts hurting whenever I think about this stuff. No wonder most people just stick with what they've got. :huh:0
