Thanks Quentin
I have been looking at this closely this evening. I would save £60 a year on broadband. I would spend £40 a year on the quarterly £10 minimum. less the £20 i would have spent with virgin. Even though the calls are dearer with o2, i wouldn't use all the time up.
So yes I would be better of.
I did try to unlock my phone a little while a go. I am not 100% sure if it locked or not. I would have to find out.

The phone credit might come in handy if you were abroad any time - it would be like having "free" calls back to the UK.0

We're just about to move into a flat and trying to work out our best option for telephone and internet (no tv)0 -
Be alert to Condition 2 if you elect to be billed monthly (which most people prefer).
"2. Customers must make at least 30 chargeable or inclusive calls every three month period or 10 chargeable calls or inclusive calls per month if you are billed monthly."
Should you, for any reason, be away for an entire billing month, you'd need to ensure that whoever's keeping an eye on your house makes those 10 qualifying calls for you: you'd otherwise lose the £95 discount and be charged for it retrospectively!
Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:
As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

Advice needed from O2 internet customers please.
Fair Usage Policy ?
I'm currently with Zen Internet who have been fantastic throughout, we have a 50gig monthly allowance which is handy as there are 4 of us in the family all running our own pc's BUT I'm paying £35 pm. Has anyone had any problems with such usage ?
Minimum Contract ?
What's the minimum contract with O2 ? Haven't spotted it yet.
I'm an O2 mobile customer but can't get the faster speeds, I can get the 8mb (which I currently get from Zen) for £17.50, is this still a good deal ?0
