just got the welcome pack from O2 ... will O2 Broadband work with Windows ME as my pc with XP is having problems and I may have to revert to using my old one for a while ...0

sorry but also the McAfee Anti-virus says it can be used for up to 3 licences ... does this mean it can only ever be installed on 3 pcs or can it be installed on a 4th if one of the previous ones is no longer active and updated? bit naive question I know ...0

They say you need xp or vista in their minimum requirements.0

I can't see why it wouldn't work with ME, although they won't provide any support for ME just like M$. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

My o2's been playing up so they've just sent me their latest version 2 box & software - neat little white thing about 2/3rds the size of the black one. Still made by Thomson looking at their website its a TG585v7
You can't fault their technical people - very helpful, tried all sorts before coming to the decision that the box could be faulty. Took about 10 mins to set it up & 2 other comps in the house wirelessly.

Just a note, for those who aren't aware of it, to mention that the O2 broadband deals on offer changed on 1 May (2008).

I posted a bit of explanation about it on another thread.

Maybe that will help someone reading this thread, too, so I've posted the link.
Hope nobody minds.
Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:
As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

I just signed up for 02 broadband today and just wondering how the payment normally works?
I know the 1st payment is taken 4 days before you`ve gone active....but are future payments taken the same date each month? or the begining/end of each month?0 -
