anyone delt with powerplay direct, tesco home insuranceted them to asess, replace or repair my mac laptop. after 3 weeks of having my laptop they have done nothing, they cant do anything as its a mac, i told them this, they need my concent to send it away, they now have this as i have contacted them, they made no attempt…

this is the official statement from PPD:

Powerplay Direct Ltd has made the planned decision to close parts of their multimedia retail division which, regrettably, are no longer viable. The web site powerplaydirect.com and their Hereford store closed on 4 January 2011. However the flagship store in Leicester remains unaffected and will continue to trade with business as usual. The two areas combined represent less then 1% of the Groups activities.
