Thanks Becs! Phew, i wasnt sure if I had put too much stuff on and around them.
Yes Asda, matalan and dunelm
My sister in law lives in Jersey and makes nappy cakes and hers have more on show if you know what I mean. I know it makes them look less like formal cakes but I decided to use unrolled nappies and just sort of twist them around a bottle in the center so had to cover them up!
How much should I charge for one?
I have included:
about 30 size 2 pampers
9oz bottle
hooded towel
washmit
fleece blanket
muslin
soft toy
soother
johnsons soap bar
johnsons lotion or bath
scratch mits
2 pairs socks
nappy pin
teether
booties
bib or winding cloth
vest/bodysuit
(about £20-22 in total)
How should I attach the rose bud socks? pin them on with tiny pins?
Sorry for all the questions!
Thanks

Hi,
I've found Dunelm Mill the best for blankets but don't think there are too many in NI,otherwise Asda for most of the other bits. Definately pretty good for soft toys as well.

Ok whats Dunelm Mill?
And where did you get the elephants?! Their adorable!
Do you reckon you could do a break down of price and store where you bought your stuff from? Your cake is amazing and I so want to 'borrow' your ideas!! LolGreen and White Barmy Army!0 -

Bellag
they look great!! Really proffesional (sp?)
I posted a while ago..not being sure if I was gonna b an auntie again... Well I am so really looking forward to making my 1st cake! Was thinking of doing it as a christmas pressie for 'the bump' but I'm struggling to find cream bits. Bellag is it a blanket on your 2nd tear on the cream 1? It looks lovely
Thank you all so much for the inspiration0 -
Hi guys,
I don't use pins on anything on mine but the sticky pads as don't want to damage anything, they seem to work well.
As for how much to charge, my 3 tier usually works out about £19-£20 fairly similar items in to yours Bellag, and I charge £34 for them. I think thta's about right.
Dunelm Mill is a sort of outlet shop for home items. They have a website www.dunelm-mill.co.uk They have baby fleece blankets which Bellag has used on the middle layers for £1.99. They do them in pale green, blue, lemon, pink and cream.
