Rusty I can see we are not going to agree on this so i think the best thing is to agree to disagree and leave it at that. We have both had our say publicly so lets leave it at that now. I'm sorry it has come to this.

Rusty, like Becs said did not have a problem with you using elements of my 'about us' page but it was far to similar to say that it wasn't copied. I sent you a pm to which you replied and said that you would see if you could 'tweak' it and that 'in the long run it was not the same'.
I sent a pm back saying that it was very similar and even if you didnt intend to it looked 'copied'. Rusty you never replied to that pm and you have not changed your 'about us' page either or have intention to it seems.
Rusty you have got to admit that you have copied more than 1 sentence! I was upset and and a both Becs and Julie had also seen your website and had noticed the similarities.
Like others have said on this thread it is here to help others and I whole heartedly 100% agree with that and I often post to help others. If I didnt want my stuff copied then I wouldnt post pics on here. All my stuff is on my website for people to copy anyway. All my ideas have come from others too like from the US and Oz sights. I have also copied Julie's ideas as she knows but seen as i dont sell on ebay or anywhere near Julie there is no harm at all.
Rusty you do help a lot of people on several threads which is fab ...my gripe is that you won't admit to copying word for word. All I asked is that you changed that.
The isuues with copying and both selling the same stuff on ebay need to be sorted out between you and Julie.

Bella, as I said in the PM I have not copied your website, however you and everyone else on your bandwagon still accuses me of doing so. see above post about other websites which I mentioned to you in the thread.

When you sent me the first PM I was amazed at how you went about it, saying you wouldn't want to fall out with me over this??? I mean whats that about? was there really any need to say things like that? I didn't reply to that PM as I had nothing to respond to it, it wasn't a case of ignoring it intentionally, yet you have not commented on a single cake of mine which has posted (maybe they are not to your standard which I admit are lovely and completely different to mine but then neither are a lot of others yet you comment on them!) which made me realise you had obviously decided to fall out over something silly!
I did respond to your pm saying I would look at tweaking it, and this still stands, I have been upto my eyes trying to earn money from various sources just to pay the bills and keep food on the table if just for my children, my partner was made redundant in Jan and is still out of work now, I apologise publicly that is hasn't been changed as of yet but as you can imagine a website currently isn't on the high list of priorities! you will also see that nothing else has been done to the website!

As far as I was aware there is nothing exactly the same that Julie and I both sell? I sell survival kits which I have done for a while, I still have 14 different ones which I am yet to change, yes I look at Julies auctions but so be it, I stumbled across julies ebay well before I realised it was actually Julie selling, I even seem to remember posting a link and Julie mentioned it was hers!!!

Yes I sell bands for nappy cakes, yes I sell survival kits, but why shouldn't I? I thought we lived in a free country! I am sorry that Julie also sells them but if anyone bothered to check our auctions are both different!!! (or will I be accused of copying there again???)

After my post today about doing the craft fair and needing Personal Liability Insurance etc. I have decided to decline the offer of the table. I at this early stage can't justify £100 for the stall and insurance, on top of that stock, leaflets, etc. It was just TOO big a fair for me to start on.

Ok so I will never make my millions by not taking a risk but I have to put my sensible head on:o

There is always next year;)

Julie not once have I said you have accused me of copying your things, I am sorry if you think I have. You have gone out of your way to help me, which I haven't forgotten, you have sent me sock rose, and business card holders which I really appreciate and if you remember on Saturday I actually sent you an email asking if you minded if I used silicone cupcakes after you mentioned on this thread and recommended them! I actually asked you rather than going ahead and just doing them! yet that doesn't get mentioned! The thing I wasn't happy about was your comment which wasn't needed! It was posted on a different thread where we all talk about our daily life and bumps and grinds, you could have commented on there rather than on here! I apologise if I upset you but I really saw red!

regardless of whether you say you wrote your "about us" page when you first had your website, the fact is Bellas website was on public view from last year and yet yours launched only in the past few weeks seems to virtually say what Bellas does word for word. The fact that you say you did not copy it quite frankly I find utterly incredulous. I have been on hundreds of nappy cake websites whilst doing the research for my own site and I can't recall seeing any that were 80-90% identical to anyone elses. Your sentences are absoloutely identical not just similar wording or phrasing! What I have posted on here was what I see with my own eyes and I just simply refuse to believe that You and Bella telepathically came up with identical pages, it's just ludicrous! You've posted your side of the story on here Rusty, you maintain you wrote this years ago, there is only 1 sentence that is the same as Bellas despite all the above conclusively proving that is a blatant lie, and that Bella must have just come up with identical wording when she did her website coincidentally last year! Being a woman of fairly good intelligence I'm afraid it jsut doesn't wash. All you need done to have avoided ruining this thread is privately admit this to Bella when she pm'd you and amend it. Instead you continue along this line.

I dont post on that thread and all i wanted to say was im sorry you felt that way yes i did take if off as i was going to e-mail you but it was too late i have never said anything about anyone on here copying i just felt the some of the others that post on here thought i had and it was about you which it wasnt

Believe what you like Becs, I always knew you would be first on the bandwagon. I am not a liar and I am disgusted that you can call a complete stranger one when you know absolutely nothing!
Think what you like, you always will and I am sick to the back teeth of it!
If a few words that are apparently word for word exactly the same is all a handful of you have to worry about then I really feel sorry for you when you wake upto the real world and have proper real life things to worry about!!!
As for the comment about intelligence? whats that got to do with anything? Is everyone else thick or something?

I have said I will tweak the website, but that will be in my own time! I will not drop down on my hands and knees and jump to someones demands I will do it in my own time which is what I said to Bella a couple of weeks back when she sent the PM.

I mentioned no names Julie, I am allowed my own opinion on people and will not just follow with the general clique! There is no mention on who I think was !!!!!y? nor two faced, unless you have a guilty conciounce? (can't spell that one!)

I have apologised on my earlier post. I don't plan to apologise for the rest of my life! it's too short!
