    Jojo,

Your cake is so sweet, I love the matching set and your ribbon is really funky!

Irlip, bad luck on your fayre. To be honest I don't bother with craft fayres as the problem I find is that the peopl attending craft fayres in the main seem to think that because it's a craft fayre everything should be cheap. They seem to think that because it's not in some expensive shop that it costs hardly anything to make. The fayre that I did have a lot of success with was a charity day, where women paid to go and have the shopping there in the morning, then a sit down lunch followed by fashion show in aid of a local hospice. So my advice would be to check out with local hospices /charities as to whether they do anything similar.
  • Wow that looks beautiful! Where did you get the bootees, hat and bib from? Can I ask if your blanket is a knitted one? hard to tell from the picture. I have seen some lovely knitted ones but not sure how they would work on a cake, not sure if anyone has used knitted ones before? (chatty?)

The booties hat & bib are from vertbaudet last year as a free gift when i placed my first order, didn't need hem for my son, so i thought i would put them on a cake :-)
Sorry theblanket isnt knitted its just a crem cellular one.

I just want to point out that I wasn't siding with anyone - just making a point.

Julie and Bella I really hope my post did not offend either of you as you have both inspired me loads!!

    Same goes for you Rusty!!

Can we all kiss and make up???:kisses3:

Now, back to the nappy cakes.......

I also want to point out that I wasn't siding with anyone either just making a point that it might have been more appropriate to respond on the relevant thread or via pm. And I certainly wasn't suggesting that Julie was copying anyone!! I have pm'd Julie and we have resolved that mis-understanding and I just hope we can all get back to our lovely thread!!!

I have a lot of health issues which have mean't that I have been unable to work for some time and so this thread and the subsequent idea for me to set up a 'mini' business that can be worked around my health issues has been wonderful for me and I hope it will continue to be so.

I am hoping for sunshine tomorrow as want to take lots of nice photos for my leaflets! Bring on the sunshine!!

Also wishing you all a very :easter_os:easter_ba:easter::easter_ba:easter_os

:rotfl:Not sure this is the nicest Easter smilie... bit like my hubby when he sniffs out chocolate!!! :rotfl:

I can't remember if I mentioned I had an order for a pooh cake ... I plan to use the same blanket/outfit and teddy for this one as I did the last but don't want it to look exactly the same ... any ideas?
    Here is the last one
    download.jpg

I planned to use coloured ribbons last time but the seethrough worked best so left it at that and just used florist ribbon on the bottom tier. Ideally I would like to have the outfit on the middle tier on show as it is in this cake .. but I just want it to look different.
I also have a possible order for another cake from my sis, this will probably have to be at cost and she says about £15 max so need to play and see if I can do a 2 or 3 tier which still looks good.

I would also like to thank everyone on here for your inspiration & help.

    Jo

:T:T:T fab fab fab! I also used the set on a cake last year too lol! Did you get the polar bear rug and cd player too? I remember when there where loads of codes for vertbaudet flying around a couple of years ago and I got loads of stuff like ready beds, cots, clothing etc.
Thanks for lightening the mood hun.
