Thanks Bella. Not sure I could pull the roses off though. I might see what I can come up with. Yours is quite bright which is why I think it works well. Not sure if mine would have the same effect with red ribbon. Will see tomorrow anyway.

What about chocolate brown florists ribbon on both layers but the same as you've done it on the bottom under the designs?0

I think because your toy is bright then the red ribbon will tie it in with the cakes creams. maybe try a burgandy ribbon but not sure if that will clash with the red of the toy?
Kitiaracat I sue two pairs of black socks and a cream flannel in my pints. I bet a sponge would work well though!
