Went to Sainsb**y today & used the Huggies voucher to get the free Mum pamper pack!! Its lovely actually & am planning to somehow use it in a nappycake!
    :T

I had one just after DD was born, I use my basket as my lush smellies basket but I imagine you could make up a lovely hamper with it ;) I have a voucher for one somewhere, I am very tempted to go buy some nappies just to have this basket that comes with it :rotfl:

I don't want to clog up this thread either but tbh Julie its not enough to say 'thats why I took it off' - you put it on in the first place and obviously some of us saw it when there was absolutely no need for it to be here in the first place in my opinion.

I totally agree with Rusty & Riggerz - its seems to me that its kind of the point of this thread to give ideas & for people to have a go themselves - no point then getting upset when/if people make cakes/gifts themselves that are similar to the photos that have been posted - if you don't want your 'ideas' to be copied simply don't post them but tbh everyone's creations have been 'copied' from somewhere! I've also been doing research whilst trying to come up with my own leaflets & possible website eventually & tbh I would say that everyone's wording is on the same theme & therefore there are only so many words to describe the nappy cakes & gifts so bound to be similar/same - all the websites I've looked at for research they were.

Anyways, enough said - Rusty you have always been a great help to me & I have found your posts really really helpful & useful so thankyou ever so for that.

    Rusty,
I'm afraid I am going to jump on the bandwagon here if only to set the record straight as some on here are going to read all of this as being deliberately nasty to you and that is not what it is about. Bella quite rightly got upset about her website being copied as this is completely different to people using each others ideas in their own way. You say you have not copied the website but I'm afraid you blatantly have.
Your website "We are a family run business located in Blyth, Northumberland."
    Bella's "
We are a family run business located in Cheshire, England."
    Your website "
We started out making nappy cakes for family and friends who were expecting, word soon got around and we began to make cakes to sell locally and then nationally."
    Bella's "
we began to make cakes for family and friends here in England. Word soon got around and we began to make cakes to sell locally and then nationally."
    Yours "
Having two small children of our own, we know exactly what new parents would appreciate to be given as a gift."
    Bellas "
We have two small children ourselves so we know exactly what new parents would appreciate. "
    Yours "
We also makes cakes for toddlers. For example with pyjamas, outfits, bath time toiletries, towels, blankets, cutlery etc- these cakes are not just for babies!"
    Bellas "
I also makes cakes for older children. For example with pyjamas, outfits, bath time toiletries and towels, blankets, cutlery etc- these cakes are not just for babies!"
These are the facts Rusty and not a witch hunt. I'm quite sure Bella would not have minded you using the gist of the wording and the ideas of what she has composed but you have copied it virtually word for word. I'm not out to join a clique group here but to stick up for people like Julie who are now being got at because others are not aware of the facts as they are above. We all use ideas from each other and that is absoloutely fine but if someone is not happy about exact copying of things like websites then that must be respected. I'm sure Bella would have put an awful lot of time and effort into doing her website and that is why it is not nice to see someone just take that effort for themselves. I'm not having a go at anyone, I am merely setting the record straight. I think this is something that you need to sort of with Bella.

I haven't thought about it Yummy Mummy Cat but the point I was making is that Rusty has said 1 line is the same but from what I've seen 80-90% of what is on the "about us" page is what someone else on here has had on their website since last year and is not happy about it. Surely the main thing about this friendly thread is that we do help each other when asked and I'm quite sure that if someone did something that upset one of the others they would accept that graciously and find another way. It just seems to be a step too far in my book and all that needs to be done is accept and alter as I've said but clearly thaqt is not going to happen which is a great shame as I think it is really spoiling the entire spirit of this thread.
