WOW WOW WOW Nicky321. I love the clothes bouquet. Just when I think i have a handle on the sock cupcakes I now HAVE to try a whole bouquet! Where did you get the big leaves from? Are the yellow/cream bits fake flowers or clothes - sorry, I can't make it out properly.

Not sure how much the cake should be sold for - there are people with much more experience of that on here who will probably tell you. I don't think £15 is too much...? How much did it cost to make? May be add on a fiver or tenner? Sorry for the vagueness.

The flowers (Cream) and big leaves came complete as a bouquet, I added the (blue) flowers using 2 pairs socks, hat, vest, 2 wash cloths and 2 Bibs, thinking when they dismantle the clothes, the bouquet is still useable.

    Would £20 be too much?

Ok I don't want you to be offended when I say this but for me £20 would be too much, however that is my personal preference and you have to remember I am on a money saving board which is why cause I like to be cheap and chearful lol .. however I think you would sell them fine for £20, as you can see from my rough calculations I wasn't far out. I do recommend you ahve a spreadsheet with all your ingredients in and where you got them from and how much you paid, I have several usual haunts where I buy my stock ... also on the price you need to work out your prices for the cello and ribbon ;) these are not cheap unless you can bulk buy

Not sure how to wrap it in cellophane, as i feel it all needs to be covered to protect the baby clothes.

Here is my first single tier nappy bathtime cake, not sure at what price I should advertise it for, could you girls help?

    Contents
    16 Huggies size 3 Nappies
    2 pairs Socks
    1 pair Scratch Mits
    1 Baby Soap
    1 Baby Shampoo
    Baby manicure set
    Comb, Brush & Rattle
    Rubber Duck
    1 Burp Cloth
    Towel & Wash Mit

I love the bouquet and I think you should charge £20 for your bathtime cake.

I haven't taken a picture of them in the cake box yet as I am still battling to get the rest of the sticky label off. If i lose the battle then I may have to try a cardboard cake box like becs suggested.

The best think to remove the sticky label is to give it a squirt of pledge, wait a few minutes and it should rub off. Also leaves a nice smell;)

What do you think of me charging £10 for the bouquet?
It contains a spray of 6 articial roses, buds, gypsophelia and greenery, with 1 hat, 2 prs socks, 2 washcloths, 2 bibs and a vest.

I may have the chance to do a one off yearly Market in a nearby town in June. The cost of the stall £45.

How many nappy cakes should I be looking at taking and would you suggest that I try and make some smaller items?

    Thanks

Congratulations looks like your nappy cakes are really taking off. I,m not experienced in these things, only on my 3rd cake, but I would personally take a variety to sample and tell them they can also order, taking a deposit to secure.

If £10 covers your costs and then some then £10 sounds like a nice round figure but I think you would get away with £12.

But as someone else just said, don't forget to factor in your time and any delivery costs.
