Hiya, the most I have paid is £42 but it was a huge all day fair and hundreds of people attend it so it is well worth it. I have had lots of orders through it from people who just take leaflets.
The cheapest I have paid is £15 but for a 3 hour ladies/pamper evening but only managed to sell one cake but lots of swiss roll cakes. That one I've npt had any orders from yet.
So I suppose it all depends on the number pf people you would expect to attend these fairs and the number of hours you have the stall to determine if its worth it.

Hi everyone, I really wanted to make a cake for a friend but she has told me she is going to use reuseable nappies for her baby. Has anyone ever made a cake with reuseables and if so what did you put in it cos I assume filling it with reuseable nappies would make it very very expensive!!!
Thank you x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Well I can resisit no longer!! I HAVE to make a nappy cake and I HAVE to make it now!!! I don't care I have no-one to give it to! That will come ha ha!!
Anyway, I have a few bits now but obviously need to go and buy some nappies!! Now I'm totally clueless when it comes to nappies (having no LOs of my own!!) so would really appreciate any advice you ladies can give me. Have read back on the thread it would appear that either Huggies or Pampers size 3 seem to be favourite - I did have a quick peek in Morrisons when I popped in for couple of bits earlier and OMG it looked very confusing - looked like there were different options - super dry and the like!! Anyway, my question is which are in fact the best ones to get (you mummies will know I'm sure!!) and also where is the best place to get them at the moment - ie. what are the really good deals going on - saw something mentioned about a special deal in Asda or something the other day I think...
Anyway, I just want to get the best nappies for mum/baby but at the best price too. TIA
Hi
I use Huggies Superdry (the blue packet) size 3 as they are white so I think look nicer. I'm also using them on my little boy at the minute too as they are really good nappies. Like others have said Tesco has the best deal at the moment with a third off!Avon Rep - C13 68.86; C14 259.29; C15 218.28; C16 268.42; C17 ...?

Hi Rainmac,
If you look on the freebies board there are some trial packs and freebies of reuseable nappies. Or you could make some, there are some amazing tutorials on craftster that you could use.Newtonlot on an MSE mission0
