Will and John are nothing to do with G24, other than having them as IPC members and acting for them as solicitors.0 -
I see that now on digging more. I must have got confused when I first looked into this all in June
DD @ the dvla must have contacted Gladstones over it simply because they are G24s solicitors0 -
Having a ticket cancelled seems to be the get out clause every time a ppc is caught doing something naughty. It is as though cancelling it makes all the wrong doing go away.
I really hope your MP does something.0 -

I think you will find that they use Gladstones for the scam only
The word incompetence which Gladstones are flagged with is enough
to put anyone off using them as REAL solicitors0 -
I was going to contact POPLA and BPA too to make a complaint but I am unsure if that will hold much sway against G24 now as they have closed their invoice against me.
Neither is relevant because G24 are not in the BPA AOS and POPLA is nothing to do with any IPC firm.
But Trading Standards and your MP certainly need to hear that this firm has been issuing misleading statements to a consumer about your liability, and just as bad, saying that a law that doesn't apply, ''overrides'' consumer law that actually protects you.
I would suggest to TS that this is a misleading business practice (against the law).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It is interesting to see that one of the G24 directors is
Paul Stedman ......
Flat 29, 1-2 Denham Parade, Oxford Road, Uxbridge, Middlesex,
This is small parade of shops and is used with a PO Box by UKPC
We now need Detective pappa-golf to fully investigate0 -

"POPLA determines appeals from motorists who have been issued a PCN regarding vehicles parked on private land. A motorists can only appeal after making a rejected case (known as a representation) to the operator who issued the PCN. POPLA is independent of all parties to appeals, including the operator and the BPA, as are the assessors who make the determinations."
based on that, I thought flagging it up to them that G24 were using false information to scare people into paying invoices was worth bringing to their attention, for any appeals of G24 PCNs they may be handling.
The DRP ltd. DC invoice states they are accredited by the IPC/BPA/AOS. with this in mind should they not be representing clients who abide by legislation, something G24 clearly avoids?
I'm probably just looking too much into this but I just want to nip the anyway I can as looking it to this all, its really infuriated me to think of how many people they have managed to scam >.<
TS will most definitely be hearing about all this, along with a mention of B&Ms £20 minimum spend agreement that is not listed anywhere0 -
POPLA only deal with BPA members. I agree that statement is vague as to that though.0

That is what these parking scammers do, they try to scare
people with rubbish. IE = G24
That is why you must ask Trading Standards to investigate the scam
Let's face it, TS already know but they are under funded by the councils and government.
It is your right to get an answer from TS and if it's negative,
you take the scam to Theresa May ?0
