    Afternoon all,

Thoughts are with those affected by the massive fire in West London - the building isn't far from my work and I pass it sometimes. I hope the death toll doesn't rise any further :(

Today won't be a NSD as I have a riding lesson later on today so have to pay for that. I'll also get some aftersun and possibly some of those passport sized pictures to avoid having another spend day tomorrow.

As I'm riding I'll count that as my day's exercise. In this heat it's going to be hard work for sure!

NSD 7 today, I'm just off to work and have left my purse at home so no chance of ruining it. Went for a run this morning, it was a real struggle (just shows how much my fitness has declined after 2 weeks being ill) but I did see some seals :D

Another sad day I fear the death toll will however rise in London flats. Sheer horror of it. Thoughts with everyone affected by it.

I did 3.5 hrs of gardening yesterday, somehow managed to do 11.5k steps even though I didn't go for a planned walk.

Spent five pounds today, fruit, milk and scones today.

Proud mummy dd got interviewed for Radio Wales yesterday giving blood just six months to the day after having her baby. I go Friday they must be short as already made appt but rang me up chasing last night and I am not a rare blood type.

Other dd returns home next week after 18mths away, getting emotional just thinking about seeing her.

Hugs to everyone feeling tad down x

    Hi guys
Well I've done my exercise and 1 extra for this week.
Unexpected spend today because I've got an interview on Friday so needed smart pants and a blouse suitable to go in (unfortunately anything suitable I already had were too small) But both items will be usable again so not too bad.
Cottage pie for tea, so I will make extra mash which can be warmed up tomorrow with the extra portions of stewed beef I put in the freezer last week.
I hope everyone is ok and keeping well and motivated.

Totally devastated with the latest news from London. There seems to have been so much bad and sad news in recent weeks...
All remains quiet here at the moment - work, mark, sleep. Still busy. More things to do than I can physically fit into a day. I'm not being very mse but I'm also not running up a load of debt either...
Raph - hope Duncan is doing ok.

    Evening!!!

Quick check in tonight from the last few days...

    Today = NSD number 7

    Today I am grateful for:
    • A gloriously sunny day
    • Overtime at work
    • My new car and having a sunroof!
Overtime meant I didn't get out to do my exercise and I'm knackered!!! On the upside- I have done 4 days of mindfulness on the trot and early nights seem to be helping me loads.

Have a lovely evening all x

As I didn't trust myself to shop yesterday I had to pick up Yogurt today, but managed to stick to that and some Pepsi Max, and some Non-alcoholic wine (a treat for a REALLY CRAPPY birthday).

Apparently while I may get my money from the ex-boss, it is likely that if he reports me to my governing body my career is over. So despite the fact that DH came home with a card and flowers and the makings for tiramisu I am feeling thoroughlly miserable.

    Sorry about the winge.

On a more positive note I did day 3 of my meditation. Did my German Duolingo for the day and clocked up 9,000 after I got back out of bed this afternoon.

Thank you, he's fine now. Although he did give us a second scare the next morning.
We went out for his early walk with bf, met one of his friends and went rolling in the early morning dew in the grass.
When he got home and was dried off, we noticed lots of bumps on his head, as if he'd been in some stinging nettles (there aren't any in the park) the bumps/spots spread down his neck and onto his legs and tummy right in front of our eyes. I sent bf to work and decided I'd stay home until the vets opened then would give them a ring.
Apart from being very itchy, the spots didn't seem to bother Duncan.
By the time the phone lines opened at 8am, the spots had disappeared. I didn't think there was any point taking him to the vet with nothing to show and he seemed fine so I left for work. I think it was either an allergy to a plant in the grass, or something they've sprayed in the park?
He's going into the vets tomorrow for a scheduled check up (worming & flea stuff etc) so I'll mention both instances then.

Didn't post yesterday, was very tired and falling asleep at 8.
Bf did a shop, so not a NSD. I did have a run, achieved my 10,000 set goal and cooked a very tasty hallumi & salad wrap for tea.

Today I've had to send a scary large lump sum of money to the conveyancers for the house deposit & fees balance. Looks like we have a tentative completion date of 10th July! :) Not going to count it as a spend day, as it was all budgeted for and the money kept to one side.

Today I am grateful for getting lots of walking done, for my 12KG kettlebell, for my counsellor, for Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes, for getting my veggies down me today, for spending spot on £30 to qualify for my money off coupon in sainz, for an abundance of raspberries, for online recipes, for pictures of gs, for birdsong.

My aim ton workout hard and increase 'other' exercise is going well, thanks to my KB. Tomorrow's workout will be using my sandbag:D.

A sad day in London. Very upset to hear that the building company obviously knew about the safety risks and still thought them acceptable.
I will never follow advice to stay and wait for firefighters again!

This week has been manic at work. So many deadlines to meet and then a whole clas to teach and control... With 4 weeks left of primary school some of them develop a bit of an, ahem, attitude. But I love the challenge :)

    Grateful for:
-The lawn in my garden - it's bedded in so we can now enjoy bubbles and sand and water with our 4 year old in the sun
-An Amazon voucher (wedding present) meaning we can get blackout blinds and a bbq in a very tight month money wise
-Having enough money to save some each month, securing future security
    - The time and opportunity to exercise, making me a nicer person to be around
    - Hitting a new kilo category, bringing my BMI down to 22 :)
