NST June 2017: Jiggle Free June

Good morning,
not doing well on the NSD front. Spent on Friday as I did the big shop, paid the vet £120 again and went out for a few drinks. Quite funny how people commented on the fact that it was me out and not DH. Must have been the first time in at least half a year or more. So we said we girls need to catch up more and we might do a monthly drink after work. Just a couple and early enough finish to get the bus rather than a taxi.
Cat is ok, will wait with the insurance claim till Tuesday when we now if we need to pay more for some steroids or similar treatment once the biopsy results are back.
Saturday was just a small shop and then Sun too. Would need to actually check the receipts to know what it was, probably the slug pellets for the garden or tea because granda is staying with us just now to take care of chickenpox DS.
Wallet left at home and fast day number 1 this week. Swim later too.
Have a good dayDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Without really realising it I achieved a good amount of exercise sessions last week.
My goals for the next ten days.
*Do 4 sessions on the exercise bike, including one that is 90 minutes long.
*Arrange X Ray on my leg to see if I have a stress fracture so I can know if I need to rest it or if I can take up running again.
*Get all the documents I need ready to do my self employed taxes.
*Attend introductory session with my potential counsellor-arrange first formal session if a good fit, find someone else if not.
*Go to the library and take out books to do with Mental Health/Social Anxiety/Depression as I am in a bit of a low state at the moment (the fact I am arranging to see a counsellor may have been a clue)
*Keep up with my blogging and other general commitments.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

Today will be NSD number 6, and I've also managed a decent brisk walk this morning and another at lunchtime so will count that as my exercise for the day.
Not much else to report, work is a little bit soul-crushing today and it's only Monday! :rotfl:
Couple of DD's went through this morning but most bills paid for the month. This week should be pretty quiet.0 -

Look back on the last 10 days and reflect on what you have done well.
Then look at the next 10 days: what will you choose to focus on.
Last 10 days blown most budgets.
Food 45/100 Petrol 40/40 House 50/60 Going out/hols 93/300 Me 45.80/50 and car 460 oops failure to budget, trying to pay my debts off too quickly.
SFD 6/16 to include today as well.
Yesterday I booked tickets for 2 gigs 1 next year and one this Oct so that is included in my going out budget. I like something to look forward to.
Me budget awful - put 10 charity donation paid yesterday as dd was doing color run, back treatment 28 and rest hair products. Hope to get 14 back off medicash for my back treatment. Aveda hair product will last for at least 6 months.
Next 10 days,
Hope to get at least another 6 SFD,
Sort out cheaper house insurance as renewal just gone up by 12 pounds.
Now my back is doing great exercise will commence. 10k a day at the very least.
Try and use my survey vouchers for food shopping.
Hoping Argos will refund me 12 pounds due to a slip up on my lamp order.
Other targets

Struggling a bit to get going today because I didn't sleep well last night at all. Not getting a lot of relaxation done but still doing better than I was last year during exam season.
Aiming for a nsd
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Have managed to do everything on my list today plus a short walk to the shops. I feel when I don't keep up the momentum I have to start from the beginning again but it's difficult at the moment so I'll just plan to start again next week. Had a small spend today on things which will be needed today or later in the week including ingredients for sandwiches to save us buying lunch in Edinburgh tomorrow. As we'll be having dinner at the hotel lunch as well would probably be too much for me and Edinburgh is an expensive city.
So, planning to leave fairly early tomorrow, Taking my tablet so will try to check in.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Hello
I am back from my short break so will be joining in again from today.
All my debt payments have been paid this month and due to a bonus from work I am hoping to clear another £200 or so.
Food budget is looking tight as DH bought lunch everyday spending £50 on food when I was away but is getting the frozen sandwiches I made this week instead.
We had an insurance claim for storm damage just before I went away and this has paid out. We have decided to repair rather than replace as the item is old and will be replaced in 4-5 years old and a repair or 2 will cover those years. The money will be used elsewhere in the house instead.
My focus for the rest of June is:
1) 10 NSDs
2) Run 3 times a week and to be running 30 minutes continuously by the end of the month
3) Pay £1000 off the debt in total this month
4) No CC spending
5) Begin to eat a grain and sugar free diet
6) Earn £20 doing surveysSave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750 -
NSD today.
Otherwise today wasted waiting for non-existent call backs from lawyers. Frustrating and increasing my anxiety. But I found an app to try 'Calm' in the hope that it will help me deal with the anxiety that is building.
Also, phoned to organise some counselling sessions. I need to talk - the Diazepam and Anti-depressants the GP suggested going back to do not help me deal with the disordered thinking and just delay addressing the issues for me.
Exercise - PT session. Back up to the 50kg squat I was doing before I hurt my back in July last year. Very satisfying.:D Also hit 60kg weigh in. Yay. I want to see those 5's:rotfl:Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Nice chilled day today, work went well, then a stroll with the pup & a tasty chicken salad for tea.
I did get a scare out on the w.a.l.k however, Duncan started urging (he was grazing on the grass) but then he lost control of his legs and collapsed to the ground. I picked him up and tried to get him to stand and after a minute he finished his throwing up and was back to his normal self.
I thought he'd eaten some poison or something (we get the occasional story of poisoned food left out in parks, luckily not our park, but I always try to keep aware)
I think his collar might have gotten a little tight on this throat as he was urging and he was passing out. His collar is quite loose on him while trotting nicely, but can get tight when he's pulling. One more notch and it would slide over his head.
Probably only manage 8000 steps today, but I think my legs deserve a rest after my hike yesterday.

(I'm going to increase my 'extra' exercise and really make my workouts count)
I've kept within budget and have resisted the urge of takeaway coffee on a whim. That's a big one for me. Exercise has gone well too.
I'm going to continue focusing on my budget for these next ten days I really have to keep this under control.February Grocery Budget: £190.75/£350.00
