    Happy Sunday all...

    Today I am grateful for:
    • The sunshine
    • For finding energy to kick myself to the gym
    • For everyone's posts this month
    Friday = NSD number 5
Saturday and today were spend days

Thanks Applemuncher for the 1/3 of the month reminder. I find it really helpful to have that - and it breaks the month into manageable portions!

I am aiming for 20 NSDsin total ~ 7 per week. I will bump up the number and try and group spending together. My exercise goal has been poor - out of a possible 6 CV sessions - I have done 1 (going for another when I have finished this!). Mothernerd - my June STAR calendar looks very lonely - just 1 sparkling on today's date! Glad you are adopting it too... A visual cue really seems to help me (... feel very guilty or smug when I am doing well lol). Similarly, my mindfulness has sucked! Out of 14 I managed 2 haha!!! I'm going to be more disciplined and like you suggested Applemuncher - do it first thing - no excuses.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend. I am going to go for a walk and do some meal prep for next week. Then collapse with a well deserved glass of vino!!!

We are now one third of the way through June.

Look back on the last 10 days and reflect on what you have done well.

Then look at the next 10 days: what will you choose to focus on.

What I have done well - survived. And not picked up a drink. I'm happy with that:)

Also 6 NSD's. (Other than budgetted non variable items like Church today)

Exercise - I've been manic trying to keep my mind off the work issues.

Mindfulness/Me time - I need to focus on this. I went to the GP on Friday and she has signed me off until the end of the month (so I can't be blackmailed back to work my notice by ex-boss). So I have until then to calm down, write my CV, utilise the career counselling I have been offered by my professional body, and organise some counselling to help me talk through what's going on in my head.

    Fairly quiet month hey:rotfl:
    Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18
    Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o

(I'm going to increase my 'extra' exercise and really make my workouts count)

I'm doing well with NSDs but this is mainly due to not getting out because of bad weather and household appointments. The downside is exercise is rubbish and I don't think that's going to improve much this week as C and I are going to a funeral on Wednesday and little time for walking. We are going to have to stay in a hotel for 2 nights. The cost of the hotel and meals are coming from our travel/holiday fund but we won't have to pay for fares as we can use our travel cards to get there. We have been offered a lift to the crematorium which is 20 miles from the town where they stay. I'm very grateful to the kind person who is doing this as we wouldn't have been able to attend otherwise and I really wanted to as I was very fond of my cousin. So, a huge to do list for tomorrow - early night, I think.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

    nsd 5 today
Quite pleased with that as I find them really hard to get at the weekend.

    Off to the gym later.

    Evening all!

Things I have done well over the last 10 days - really stuck to the shopping budget and exercise targets/healthy days.

Things I need to focus on over the next 10 days - increasing my NSD count! I've managed 5 out of the 15 I want so need to be stricter with myself.

Today once again hasn't been a NSD - I was naughty and spent £4 on a sunbed before holiday at the end of the month. I always burn on holiday if I don't build up a little tan first. I've been out volunteering most of the day and then took my share horse out for an hour and a half so LOADS of exercise done. Weather was super nice and it's been a very pleasant day all round. :)

Should be able to rack up a good few NSD's next week.

    Hi guys
I had a lovely walk along the Promenade into town today. Absolutely blowing a gale, but not cold, definitely blew a few cobwebs away.
I needed a birthday card and stamps ( I managed to get a birthday card 69p long ago are the days of spending £s on bits of paper to go in the bin after a few days) I couldn't get stamps so that will have to be a tomorrow job.
My walk counted towards my exercise which is good.
This evening I have 2 hand knitted scarves I had made. To wide and just not comfy to wear so I'm going to unravel and reknit thinner. That will also keep my hands busy.
The soup yesterday was lovely and two more portions in freezer.
I'm gradually getting organised in our new home and have started collecting 20p pieces towards holidays.
I applied for 2 more jobs last night so eventually someone will want to give me an interview I hope.
Anyway time to go cos the Formula 1 is about to start
    Keep well guys
    Cuddles

Ccl - well done on still standing! With all that is piled on your plate, you are doing brilliantly. :T

Fmess - well done on completing the marking. :T And your day out sounds wonderful.

Abundant - well done on hanging in there with life throwing sidewinders at you. Get going on that mindfulness, please. :D

FBO - a MASSIVE well done on not touching the alcohol :T:T:T. And on sorting out so much positive stuff for yourself in such a tough time. Well done for not hiding under the duvet.

Toni'sfriend - well done on arranging things to be able to go to your cousin's funeral. The exercise/walking will happen, but there are times when you have to accept that it has to be put on hold for a while, and often it ebbs and flows. Whose life ever goes on a smooth, straight line, eh? :D

Skintteacher - well done on getting a weekend NSD :T And going to the gym :A.

Lcc - well done on sticking to your plans :T. You are 1/3 of the way there with NSDs and 1/3 of the way through the month, so all on track.

Cuddlymarm - sounds like a lovely day! Well done on re-using the wool :T And getting organised in your new home.

So, I may have overdone it with the applause, but it is a good thing to celebrate our successes. Well done one and all!:T!

What I have done well - Pleased with my NSDs, 5/10, and 4 of those were holiday days.
I'm also pleased with my exercise. I may not have reached 10,000 everyday (Monday was particularly abysmal at 3500). But I have racked up a whopping 20,000 steps today, so on average I've reached my daily goal. And I managed my 3 runs.
Looking ahead - Focus on my steps again, and my running. I also want to keep a close eye on my calories, as it's one of my downfalls.

Not much done today, apart from an 8 mile walk with my besty. Which is where I racked up my 20,000 steps. My ankles are a little sore where they were rubbing on my boots, but it was a very enjoyable walk.

    Morning all

    What I have done well
    - meal planning, our food bill is way below what it was this time last month
    - daily steps, although I have not managed to go to the gym or for a run so far this month I am consistently reaching my 12,000 steps target and most days getting to 20,000 :D

    To focus on
    - now that I feel better, I need to get back into going to the gym/running so in the next 10 days I'm going to aim for 2 runs and 2 gym sessions. I've taken my stuff with me to work today so will do something after work

Saturday was a spend day as we went a food shop and I also bought a belated birthday gift for my gran and gift for father's day. Yesterday was a NSD 5/16.
    Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500  1.8.25 - £106,362.86
    Mortgage overpayment savings - £3.33/£50
