Okay I can't sleep.
So I've made a list of house chores I want to get done before going back to school Monday. I think I'll be on sick this week depending how things are Monday morning.
I need to
Do house stuff
Check uniforms
Check school bags
Order coat hangers
Make lunches for smalls
Meal plan
Bake snacks
Arrange a visit to sister for coming week
Arrange a visit to Mum's for coming week
Arrange follow up appointment needed for myself
Make soup or casserole
Do attendance chart for smalls for school
Plan more of December activity a day
Sort November goals (how is it going to be November already )
That's a lot to keep me busyI don't think I'll get it all done unless the painkillers work miracles.

Sounds like you've had a tough few hours. Hope you are able to get some rest tonight and feel clearer about things after a good night's sleep.
I agree with the other posters that often life and what happens to us can affect the way we deal and plan with money. Our circumstances go hand in hand with our MSE ness!paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

Oh Hidden
I'm sorry to read something not very nice has happened. Whatever it is, please put yourself and the kiddies first. Don't worry about putting stuff other than money issues on here. I think my diary is 75% other issues! Like others say they are linked. I guess that keeping yourself busy takes your mind off things, I'm the same and I do believe it works.
Please take care and don't stop posting or we'll all worry about you. Plus we need someone to motivate us to get cracking on our to do listsI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Hidden, I hope you're a bit better today but you know we're all here for you.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0

Whatever it was, it's happened and now you can move on... I'm not being heartless at all and I'd read to think what's happened I've been at the rough end of some fairly horrible stuff in a previous relationship but it's none of our business. However, we all use our diaries in different ways, yes it is a moneysaving page, but many different things cause us to spend money. You are allowed to share as much or as little as you want here.
I am sure you will move on from this 'incident' and come out fighting for you and your children, you are an amazing mum, it shines out from the pages of your diary. Take some time for yourself but we are all here for you in whatever way you feel you need. X0 -
Thanks all x
Not much of the list done yet, if anyA slow start but I'll get it done soon or at least the important things.
After more helpful advice I think moving is better being put on hold until the arrears are clear. It would be hard trying to move with them. I think I was a bit quick to rush into thinking this was a way out when it isn't.
Off to refill my coffee, have a lovely day all x0 -
Think you're right about not moving. It would be difficult whilst you're still paying off the arrears and it would just add more stress to the stressful situation you find yourself in. Take your time. I'm sure you'll find a way out of this. You always do. Please take care of yourself.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0

I hope you are OK.
I was going to suggest popping in to one of the stores like M&S and asking if you can have a few coat-hangers from them - I do when I am running short. I mutter about buying things on-line that don't come with hangers and old ones snapping. They are usually happy to let have some.
I really like the ones the trousers come on as I dry my underwear hanging from these in the airing cupboardSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
