Grocery shop done. Just over £30 included pumpkins and some sweets for trick or treaters much to smalls disappointment as they don't go :rotfl:
Bought DS school shoes and youngest school bits. Need to locate leggings for both girls now and I think that will be it on clothing spends until after Xmasx

You are truly inspirational
There is no emoji thingy for it, so I'll just have to say it and you can imagine the wee animated figures doing the actions...

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

I remember doing some apple-bobbing in a bucket for Halloween for our Son and four of his friends, with tiny prizes like pencils and erasers, when I was not happy for him to go out trick or treating. They all loved it and there was no risk and very low cost. I think I made toffee apples and orange cake if memory serves!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far

Around our block a few of the adults dress up too and take all the wee ones around the neighbours that they know. It does worry me, though, that there are children from other places (some of them quite small) who just going around by themselves knocking on random doors.
Well done on having a lovely holiday and spending so little. You really are a marvel.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
I have some activities planned for halloween night plus they are going to the disco at school. We will answer the door to trick or treaters and mine will be dressed up but I don't allow them to trick or treat
Smalls are staying over at mums after an eventful night. .I have given her money though and said that is all she is to spend/expect no moreI have sent their drinks/snacks and food. I don't want to spoil their relationship due to money and it's nice that for once youngest can join in with them.
On the back of all the dramas last night and no children I have lots to do, so if I go quite no need to send a search party.. just yet anyway
Have a lovely weekend all x0 -
