It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

  • Thanks all, not sure what to do next.

Maybe move house? This will not help the debt busting though. Maybe time to end the diary until that is back to being my main thing to focus on other than other things. I don't know. I don't want to turn it round to pouring personal life things over here rather than debt busting.

Shouldn't have come home from holiday :o :rotfl:

As for debt busting though I haven't touched the bank since payday/just before holiday so will be making more payments to debts this week when I can work out what to where.

Debt busting can't happen in isolation, so all those other thing are just as important to post about because they help remind you why you haven't made the progress you hoped, or how you managed to smash those targets in spite of everything (usually the latter in your case :D )

I hope you're managing to get done what you need to, but remembering to squeeze in some relaxing/ pampering too.

You have a lot of good friends on here, we're all thinking of you.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
I’d miss you so much if you didn’t have a diary! But you have to do what is right for you. I post mainly non money things on my diary, but it all adds up to life. If I don’t get my head straight on some things, I can’t earn more or save more so I see sorting other things out as essential to money management. I like the support and encouragement too!

Don’t think that we don’t want to listen and help, we really do x

  • Where is your diary earthgirl? Is it on MFW?

You would be very much missed HI if you stopped posting on your diary.

We don't mind if you post about personal stuff or money stuff, because it can be connected :o

  • After some wise words I think the balance will need to found. Keeping some personal stuff away as I have been and let slip in the last few days/weeks. That should be taken elsewhere.

I think so much has happened in 48 hours my head can't keep up. However I'm aware 'shutting down' just doesn't work and neither does taking a few steps back in choices. However tempting the latter is.

While that feels the option I want to take I know longer term its stupid.

It's been a long night/day and I'm sore tired and think I just need to stick to basics.

I can well understand not wanting to post a load of personal stuff on your diary, I'd have real difficulty in doing that myself for a number of reasons.

Just post what feels right to you, and if that is mainly financial then that's the right thing to do.

Loads of people on here are willing you on, and want to see you settled, happy and debt free.but your decisions have got to be ones that you are comfortable with.

Hope you get a good nights rest and wake feeling positive about everything. XX
