Thank you
I want to see better payments! It's make me feel fed up that I can't!
There won't be any real difference until NovemberBecause October will just be used to catch up on the rent and usual bills I'm dropping behind on waiting to be paid! Depressing. Then of course there will be Xmas, then all 3 smalls birthdays boo! I want it gone NOW!
Slight delay in going to work, youngest been sent home from school so waiting for someone to watch her for me. Meh!0 -
You know, Hidden, just a few short months ago you were struggling to even make the payments you needed to so this is just a little break in making overpayments due to circumstances. You'll get back on track soon enough.
Hope the wee one is ok.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Hey Hidden, it is such a bad time of year for germs and poorliness, combined with overtiredness. My two are always poorly this time of year.
And Toni's friend has really said it wonderfully. You've come so far and done so well, please don't beat yourself up for not overpaying! I know, I know it is taking time, and patience is not something I was blessed with either. But you are absolutely winning at this! So many others in your position would just put their hands up and say I give in! But you don't! You're so resourceful, even when there's no money left you find a way to buy food and the things you need. You are a legend and an inspiration! I have been on these boards for a long time, and yours is one of my all time favourite diaries. Just thought I'd say0 -

Well said missymoo81. I agree. Chin up and onward HI - it's just past Autumn Equinox so everyone feels a little bit sadder than normal but it is temporary. When you evaluate what has come in during September and how it has gone out you will feel better! Nobody can say you have squandered it. Kids are well trained
They take their uniform off and put it in the washer as soon as they come in from school everyday :rotfl: It's the rule!
Well I didn't come back with my lists last nightI finished the ironing and floors and went to bed
Up bright and early and got loads done! Always feel better after more than 4 hours sleep!
Weather is awful. So we are doing homework and then doing the extras for the homework that's optional, making a castle with one and a skeleton with the other! (why I set myself up for these things I have no idea!)0 -
Okay 18 days until payday. Although really we need to get through to the 18th November on as little as possible to catch up with everything.
We have the following meals in.
Roast beef dinner x 4
Roast chicken dinner x 3
Curry x 3
Fajitas x 3
Pulled pork x 2
Spag bol x 5
Lasagne x 5
Chilli x 3
19 'ready meals' of various kinds
More soup that we will eat in 12 years!
There's still 3kg mince, 12 chicken breasts, a joint of pork and a beef joint. To make these into meals will need more store items/veg etc.
Breakfast: porridge, pancakes, toast, cereal.
Lunches: Salads, leftovers, soup, pasta, jacket potatoes, Egg/beans toast or similar.
Snacks/lunch boxes: 99% homebaked stuff. Cakes/biscuits/flapjacks/muffins etc.
To make the above meals and last for at least a month my shopping list is.
2 x tin of tomatoes (already have enough for the others)
Mayonaise
Salad
Fresh fruit/veg (have enough frozen for the above meals so not a need really)
Porridge oats
12 x Milk
Sweetners
Squash
Maybe eggs depending on how things go.
I'm aiming for under £50 in October same as this month. We don't need fruit/veg but will look for reduced/lidl/aldi etc to mix things up.
Oh ETA. We could make pie/stew/casserole with the other meats. Will have to look at this too.0
