Hiya missus, have a grand dayBUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron
It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Hi HI,
You sound very organised.
Have a lovely day xx0 -
Good that you've got plenty of stocks to use up. You should easily stick to your budget with your resourcefulness.
Enjoy your weekend and put your feet up at some stage xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Have a huge list of plans for October. Will finish and post later. Need to find my October ones first. Considering changing my monthly debt updates to run with the month rather than the 9th :cool:0 -
September goals
Money
£100 to council tax - £160/100
£120 Groceries - £29.72/£120
£100 to other debt £255/£100
Make £5 a day £150 = £264/£150
List 10 Items on eBay (18 Sold)
Maybe I'll make these a little higher for repayments. Will work it out as no real income now till the 18th October
Happy with the following:
I did pay for five school trips this month
I did clear Fine 1 this month
I did go to work and the kids did go to school :rotfl: counts as a goal surely.
I hit all my targets and a bit extra thanks to the Ebay sales/surveys.
The girls room was completely finished
All other spends are under £60 for the month (including DS expensive hair cut)
Despite a huge lack of incoming my debt hasn't gone up:T

Make a start on collecting survey vouchers for Xmas presents. (kids presents are sort of budgeted already a plan in place but any extra will make things easier, Only family we buy for is nephew/my mum and sister)
Xmas tree comes from exoh, have all decorations and things.
Xmas dinner is at mums, buy chocs and non alcohol drinks for me and the smalls to take with us.
*Extra income is less, I have nothing to eBay and don't have as much time to survey.
*Will start cashing out VO etc in high street vouchers now to use as gifts.
I need to catch up on ALL my bills I'm behind on (all have been spoken too and are okay).
V1rgin - first bill so two months nearly £89 (its a bit under this but rounded up)
TV license - £28
Rent - £113.07
Council tax £85
School - £200
Mum came up with a new figure of what I owe her, I disagree, however no proofand she's added in days she's had the kids and taken them out etc, its nearly 3 times the amount in my debt. I'm unsure what to do about this and adding it in to the debt. It will make it look like I've massively got more debt when I haven't really and this is just what she wants back now (i'm sure it will change again at some point)

Also want to add into my goals
Weight loss/exercise.
When the weather's so awful I don't really feel like going out and walking etc, I get free access to the gym through work but not sure when I'd fit it in or get someone to watch the smalls. Something I need to consider.0 -
You have smashed September!! Well done and amazing.
know you have already spoken to your mum about not doing the giving you a random total thing. I know relationships are at stake and you are grateful for her help, but this has to stop for your sake and the sake of your smalls.
Can you think of any strategies to get her to stop this? What about giving her £10 for the kids for entertaining them on the day you hand them over and saying that's is it? Or suggesting free activities they do? Or using someone else- it might be cheaper!
I have the opposite problem my mum spoils my kids, and my inlaws ignore them. I use kids clubs and a relative I trust always in return for wine and flowers, as it stops the problems.
I know your mum has helped you, and you had s difficult patch yourself where she was helping but you shouldn't be paying for it now if you haven't agreed to it.

I'm the same, trying to find time to fit it in with kids. I do interval training at lunch time. It's quick, effective and I can fit it in with a quick shower at lunch. Not saying that's the answer but it's my current idea!
There are loads of free workouts on YouTube to do at home if you need to do it there? Cutting down on the chores would give you time but i know that's personal.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
