I'm genuinely shocked here, is your mum, grandmother of the wee yins charging you for looking after them!!!
Seriously???
Is or was she adding up what she spent on them and asking for it back???BUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron
It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Morning Hidden, how are you? What plans today, roast and Grand Prix by any chance
?
Loved your meal plan by the way, what do you use as fajita mix, my small
Peeps find even the mild mix waaaay to spicy!
Hope you have a lovely day0 -
You are doing brilliantly HI and it will be wonderful once your regular income has kicked in and your debts are paid off.
I am with Cumbria on how wrong your mum is to charge you if she takes your kids out unless this is prearranged and you offer to pay. I would never dream of asking my daughter for money when we take our granddaughter out or for charging for looking after her on Monday. Your kids sound wonderful so you would think she would live to spend time with them and from what you have said it is not like they need the money. I also remember you cleaning for her and baking cakes etc. I honestly feel really indignant on your behalf.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. But this is all from in the past. Going back quite a while
I don't ask her to have them now so it won't happen again. I don't think we will agree to less as she already thinks this is missing some things she's done
So will take it on the chin and learn not to let it happen again!
I'm not adding it to my debt. I will focus on the £300 left in my debt that I know I definitely owe and will think about the rest when it comes to that point.
I agree don't add it to your debt. In fact I would go so far as saying to her she will have to invoice you so you have it in black and white.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. It's still less than the calculator said so I think they are going to take the overpayments directly from payments? No idea but it gives me a better idea what to budget with.
I'm not going to comment on your 'mother' as there would be no words, just !!!!! where they have blanked out my words:rotfl:
With the Tax Credit Overpayment make sure they have split the debt 50/50. HMRC split joint claim overpayments if a couple have now separated so then you are only liable for half and ex will have to pay the other half - if he doesn't they will deduct from wages!!!!0 -

She doesn't charge for the childcare, but for things she's spent. Like days out/food places/random things they've picked up etc.missymoo81 wrote: »Morning Hidden, how are you? What plans today, roast and Grand Prix by any chance?

That's my exact plans! Roast beef today
I'm currently watching F1 but I'm behind because it was on so early! I'm already shouting at the TV though!
We use BBQ Fajita seasoning and it's a little spicy still but not as much as mild. Although Aldi sometimes do their own box kit (wraps, seasoning and salsa) for mild at 99p and this is no where near as spicy as branded. I also think it being in the slowcooker with veg all day makes it less spicy as when I've done it on the cooker top.0 -

I think while I know I owe it not making my debt higher for it is nicer on the mind. After all it could change again  Although she isn't having them anymore so it shouldnt. Thank you for popping in xEager_Elephant wrote: »I'm not going to comment on your 'mother' as there would be no words, just !!!!! where they have blanked out my words:rotfl:

I'm not sure how to find this out? Will it say on my award letter? I haven't received that yet. Thank you for popping in, hope you're well x0 -
Thank you all for stopping by
Can't believe the weekend is nearly over!
Roast beef dinner on the plan for today. Just watching F1 first though (I'm behind don't spoil it)
Have done most of the housework, need to go and feed mum's cat (she's away) and need to print a letter off why I'm there and she can't shout at me for using her printer :rotfl: Need to try and get a printer another thing to the list.
Weather is still gloomy here so I think just pottering and the walk to mums will be all. Need to iron the bedding and get them made though before we go.0 -
H Hidden,
Just dropping by to catch up! You SMASHED September!! Amazing and very inspirational for us all. Enjoy Sunday - I'm watching the NFL and catching up on some work (booo!!!). Having roast pork belly for dinner. Enjoy your beef!

I get super cross watching the F1! I dislike certain drivers but love others! Enjoy your beef and thank you for the advice on fajitas. I'd never thought of putting in the slow cooker! Can I ask what ingredients you use and whether you just shove them in the slow cooker as they are?0
