  • Morning all

Thank you for all your lovely replies, I agree SA the advice from here really does help.

Youngest isn't going today :o Another awful night. I am going to work though just for service time so I am not leaving them short. Have found someone to sit in with youngest, I'll not be gone 2 hours.

So still a day of feeling in limbo. I can't pay anything to anyway because we have about £1 between change and the bank :o Still ages to payday :o Tax credits come in Friday but will be straight back out to pay the rent.

Need to do a meal plan and check what we actually need. Hoping we can just scrape through to payday when I'll stock back up properly.

Smalls are onto frozen fruit in their lunches though :o

DS has his school trip today and DD has hers tomorrow then Friday is School photos x
  • Don't fret about not being able to make extra payments Hidden - just sneak through on the essentials at the moment. Sorry to hear littlest had another bad night but glad you've managed to sort someone to sit with her so you've been able to go to work - that'll be good for you as respite as much as anything else.

  • Youngest is okay :) No worse and hopefully on the up.

We are all fed, bathed and in bed. Amazing how much earlier things are done when I have more time.

DD trip tomorrow, I'm really anxious about where she's going. I know we shouldn't let past events worry us but I do :o Especially when going with school :o I'll be a wreck all day until shes home!

She's also been invited to a party at the trafford center I am nervous about :o It's the first time she will be going so far from home with someone I don't know :o Please tell me this is normal?
  • Glad little one is improved.

I used to worry about school trips and whether other parents were looking after them properly and making them put on their seatbelts etc :o. I used to feel anxious until they got home, but they learn so much from these experiences that it's good for them to go.

I became more laid back with each child and also worried less as they got older and more articulate :).

  • I'm glad I'm not alone, I know she will have an amazing time, she is so excited.

Need to factor in a birthday gift for the party too.

Have used some of the Amazon vouchers for washing powder/cleaning things and some juice.

Really want to keep supermarket spends to a minimum. Hopefully under £50 for the month! Next month obviously won't be the same as I need to replace a few bits we've started to run out of.

I'm just about to head to bed, night all x

    Morning lovely,

How are you this morning? How is little one? It sounds like you've had a tough couple of days, but please don't let little one being poorly make you feel bad about work. I have already had to take time off as May was sick and I've had to go in late to accommodate drop offs etc. It's hard as you fee so much guilt, for work and for poorly children, it doesn't feel like you can win. I get that sugar. But you're managing so well, especially juggling it all. You should be proud that you've adapted to difficult situations thrown at you. I for one am proud of you :)

As for food, you have so much stashed in the freezer I'm sure you'll be fine. I'm going to have to copy and go through my fridge, I'm pretty sure there is some pretty sad looking veg for some soup.

I hope you have a good day today.
  • Have a lovely day missus

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.
